No shame using summons, the boss would've gotten more health had you summoned Melina and it's fun lore-wise to see how they fight. Also being mostly a caster it's more enjoyable if you can share boss aggro with summons. Was a fun video, have a good day!
I'll try do it at least once just to try it out. I feel like the extra boss health would make it tougher for me and all the summons on my screen would overwhelm me 😅but it would be a fun experience to at least try the feature. I just got this game for my PS5 a few days ago and I’m not sure where to go, I’ve found this soldier camp next to a site of grace and I’m not sure what would be the most effective way to grind runes.
Sorry for the late reply not sure how far you've gotten since this comment so I'll only answer the second half. The way I grind runes is usually by fighting bosses since they drop huge amounts of runes at a time or if I'm stuck on a boss or can't find any I'll look for large groups of mobs and just farm them over and over. If you need more help there should be plenty of guides here on youtube on more detailed ways to farm runes :)

@@AurabotASMR just keep exploring and you'll find mini bosses that get you a fair amount of runes, margit is pretty tough if you haven't played a souls-like game but just keep trying. to the south of where you entered limgrave there's a neat dungeon called castle morne and to the west is caelid which is tough but you get good stuff there :)
My best recommendation for sorcerer builds is too use mimic tear and equip woe(a talisman that increases attention) then take it off and put on a invisible spell and spam any spell

@@SleepyChicharoneyASMR no problem :3, just remember to use more high damage spells like cometshard or swirl so u don't attract the big scary guys lol
you can jump over a lot of attacks that are like big ground slams by the way!

Practice only pressing the roll once per attack, it's hard not to panic roll but extremely rewarding. You got this!
