Attending the 2008 Bucharest summit as the U.S. representative to NATO, Nuland pressured allies to provide Ukraine and Georgia with a plan to prepare for joining the alliance. When the governments of France and Germany objected to this idea, she made a blunder by extracting from the allies a promise that one day Ukraine and Georgia would certainly be accepted into NATO. It was this move that triggered the war between Russia and Georgia in August of that year and laid the foundation for the tensions between Russia and Ukraine that would become evident later.

I am not totally sure, but I heard that Nuland's ancestors were Jewish from Moldova, not from Ukraine. Also, In 2014, as Putin said, Obama called him and asked to make sure that Yanukovich would not suppress the aggressive "protesters" who actually were militia members and wanted to make a coup. Obama promised that protesters would not try to attack the presidential palace and other government buildings. Putin advised Yanukovich not to call for troops. So, Yanukovich abandoned the idea. The next day, as troops were not summoned, the militiamen attacked and seized the government buildings. When Putin called Obama with a question about their agreement, Obama answered: "Ukraine is not your business." The next day, Russian troops took control of Crimea.
Was that before or after the hundred plus civilian protestors where shot by russian snipers dressed as Ukrainian security / police?

I attended a conference she also attended, an IGAD meeting, an intergovernmental organization for East Africa, she attended with the goal of lobbying for the privatization of the oil industry even though there was an active civil war going on which only angered many of those present by her attendance .

Her resignation signals a likelihood of a Donald Trump presidential return. It is easier to resign than get fired. The timing of this could not be as perfect given the likely ending of the Ukrainian experiment with Victoria nuland as the grand architect.

There seems to be an additional, bureaucratic element to her departure. Since July 23, she held the position of Deputy Secretary of State but she had thus far only been able to secure the position on an acting basis. Under the Vacancies Act, she was given 210 days legally to hold the position and, presumably, assemble the necessary support that she had been lacking in the Senate for confirmation. She was never nominated to the post by Biden, which would have given her additional time to achieve approval in the Senate. Instead, Kurt Campbell was nominated as Deputy Secretary of State by Biden on November 1. This means that on February 12 she had to vacate the acting role (having stayed nearly the legal limit) and on that same day Campbell was sworn in, having been confirmed 92-5 in the Senate on February 6. She was promoted during the Ukrainian offensive, passed over after its failure and ousted once the House blocked further Ukraine funding.
She must also have been involved in funding and training of the ruthless Azo😢v and other Banderite formations and enciuraged their attacks on the Donbas as and other Eastern obladts . As for Poroshenko, as president he famously said of his own Russian citizens: "Their children will be hiding in bunkers, ours will be going to school. "
