The hills are amazing place to live and very private . You could drive past a lot thinking it's nothing more than a garage , then around the hill and see a 3 story mansion off the side of the cliff . Ain't no better place than LA

I used to work at Bel Air Crest back in the early 1990-91. The land was owned by Goldrich and Kest Development on 481 acres of land. It wasn't actually in the city of Bel Air but was added in to with their zip code after the purchase of the land. The G & K developer would build the houses or the vacant lot owner would choose their own builders. One of the 2 owners actually lived there along with Kirk Douglas, I think if I'm not mistaken or one of the 50's star might have been Gregory Peck, driving his red Cadillac convertible. And in 2020 before covid hit was there with my wife and our child, I couldn't believe it.

I believe Just bought a 5800 sq ft lot up in the Hombly Hills area My plan too bld a mini estate panelized 5000 sq foot 2 story 4 bd rm 3 ba home with A Garage 2 story Granny apt estimated value $$$ 75 too $100 million dollars investing the eagles assess I squeezed out of silver dollars should net me very high profits

The one I like Christophe is the one that's the SW style that was gated only 4 homes in the circle. in Beverly Hills! Only a little over 2 million you stated but that house had stairs that lead up to the double wrought iron doors. Had the dark Walnut wood doors contrasting the walls. Loved the kitchen I think had the copper accents? It was a vacation home. Loved the fact all furnishings are included! Now the BelAir tour I was wondering about the Beverly Hillbillies Mansion. I thought that would be about 250 million with 16 acres. I saw the interior which was totally spectacular. The landscaping was wonderful. Takes the landscapers a long while!!!! It was definitely expensive and elegant.

The people who want to live in these stupid communities are the worst stuck up people. They look down on others and do not even manage their own property there is pay somebody to do it so. That is why thieves target these individuals because they know what a life of excess they live.
I have to disagree, people are people anywhere rich or poor and every client I have sold their home here or has bought here have been wonderful, warm, caring and charitable people. I appreciate your opinion however it is not the case.
I am a contractor and own my own company. I have dealt with individuals living in these estates. 2/10 were nice/compassionate but still out of touch. The others would treat their hired help like garbage. What you do not see is behind closed doors.
Most are buying these houses to show off their wealth. A family of four needs a 7 beds 5 bath 2 kitchen etc house?
I make enough to live in one ☝️ these silly communities. But it choose not too. I do not feel that important. I do not care about showing off my wealth. I am content with what I have. I enjoy doing my own chores in the house. No need to hire a maid.

They are fenced round with guarded access points

The last colde sac In my neighborhood has a gate that leads to bel air crest

Luckily the fires only came up to the outer gates and no homes were affected.

Christopher, Is bel air crest within the bel air entrance or is it separate from it. What i mean is, do you have to go into east gate of bel air or west gate of bel air, or is it just close to the main bel air entrances. Love your channel and thanks

Bumps to make it safe for the kids... What kids? On my street there are kids out playing when the sun shines. Life goes on in my suburb and people are safe and don't need to hide. These streets in the videos are dead. I wish the rich people knew that what their kids miss out on is worth more than their money could ever buy. ...but I am not going to pretend... I'd love to have a house on any of those streets:) Great video!

TimmyME Depends on where you go. Places like Sanfrancisco Florida Europe have massive Million dollar homes with no gates. Gates are just a relatively new gimic. These areas are probably so safe that even with out the gates they would be safe.
Hi Christophe! So i have a very obscure question, please bear with me. Growing up, and still today, i was a fan of Sonny and Cher. I believe when they were making the Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour, back in the ‘70’s, they lived in the Bel Air area. I’m curious if you know where their property was, if it’s still standing, and any photos of the home when they lived there. I have absolutely no interest in intruding on Cher, or the residents of their previous property, i am just curious. Thank you.
They lived on Ambazac Way in Bel Air & also on Carolwood Drive in Holmby Hills.

Depends on the part of Bel Air, the best parts starting around $10 million +
I don't think you can get any homes under $5m in Bel Air Crest these days
You can but the Canyon homes starting at $1.9 million. Custom homes is a different story.
How much to rent a house like you one you sold?
Bel Air Crest homes can rent from $9,000 a month to $75,000 a month.
