@@MrSabram07 they steal other peoples ips and then take them to court knowing they dont have enough money to fight them, they have several human rights abuse violations against them, they have been banned by the us military, 50+ higher up employees have been arrested on various shady finacial charges. and thats just them as a business. as far as fpv goes the more market share dji has the less smaller company's will have to innovate and make us actual cool stuf for fpv. all we will be left with is closed system over priced bullshit that is not recognizable as diy fpv as we know it, just dji aka the "apple" of drones.
@@MrSabram07 they do make very high quality products, but sometimes you hear negative stuff about them. The digital fpv system is great from what I heard.

6S1P 21700 + 6 inch is my absolute favorite setup.
You won't be able to rip like a 5-inch Li-Po, and you won't be flying 30 minutes like a 7 inch 6S2P...
But it is a really enjoyable combination of both! Can freestyle pretty well and flies for a good 15 minutes.
Highly highly recommend anyone to try 6S1P 21700 packs on a 6 inch, you'll be hooked!
The best cells are Molicel 21700 P45B
1P config for 6 inch, 2P for 7 inch or larger.
Of course 2P would be GREAT for 6 inch or even 5 inch drones, plenty of current, but 2P is twice as heavy, too heavy for a 6 inch.

The solo rush tank is awesome. I have a Lumenier LUX in another build. The solo is noticeably better. The built in mic is a nice touch also.

I fly 4s li-on packs 21700 5000mah. Gives long flight times, but definitely more for learning or cinematic flight. They don’t like to punch out. Works great for my current level of pilot skills.

i dont know if you calibrate your current sensor but based on your end of flight data you pulled max 16 amps which that pack can do 35 amps so you werent really pushing it and could go harder.

I found these packs give up about 35 amps w/o too much trouble....gerat for what was shown here but not for hard punch outs...don't worry about them ...they're sturdy as hell..

If anything those liion packs should keep you from popping an esc I would think. They can’t discharge enough juice at once to pull many amps. The motors and esc can ASK for it all they want but those cells can’t give you enough amps to zap shit.
My seven inch long range will eat a 50 amp esc if I give it a good 6s LiPo. 6s li ion packs have zero issue.

It’s 2.8 and cut off voltage is 2.5v

@@joshuabarr5427 Just keep in mind that this particular pack in the video was a lithium ion pack, not the usual lithium polymer packs that quads tend to run, li-ion packs can go down to a lower voltage than lipo packs, for the run of the mill lipos, don't go below 3 volts basically ever, try to land when it's at like 3.5 volts per cell
@@KenPiper copy that. I'm running the 4s Flywoo lionpack right now. I grabbed the hexplorer for cruising and have been cutting at about 14v overall just to be safe since I couldn't find a concrete answer. Still getting 12-13 min flight time though. Pretty sweet!
@@joshuabarr5427 In that case, you're good to fly until about 11.5-11.0 volts on the pack, don't let it get to about 10 volts total or you run the risk of the battery management circuit just cutting power to your quad whether you were ready for it or not
You might get enough amps from 18650's if you were to do 3 cells in series and then 2 of those in parallel. But then the drone is only seeing it as a 2s.
