- Lagos State Government has removed some street gates, security posts and fences of houses constructed on drainages and canals in the Okota area of the state.
Officers of the State environmental sanitation corps are asking residents to be wary of buying unauthorised property.

There can't be all these houses erected /built and fully occupied without Lagos state officials being complicit in approving all kinds of permits and certs... the relevant agencies need thorough house cleaning
The canals are not leaned , what are they saying
You can't build in Lagos without obtaining necessary documents but most people build beyond approved structure.
The gvt are not doing much , there is no stipulated water ways mapped outby gvt or created , after filling swamps and build houses it becomes canals. Lgs gvt has no plan at all
The problem is not demolition but can you the most lazy people in Nigeria yuroba

I am not yoruba, but the yoruba people are more hardworking, more prosperous, more intelligent and more visionary than you drug dealers in the southeast whom do nothing but hate the progress of others espcially the prigress of the yorubas and northerners.
