- This is my honest review of the $3,500 A1 Pro eBike from ASYNC. It looks like it's from the future, and has some incredible speed and range, but some major cons I found!

What do YOU think? Worth the $3,500 price tag?
2k max…
If you have some questions on comfort? For 3500 you should have comfort.
Yes
Not too overzealous
naaaa i could get a Ninja for that price.. mmmm love the smell of gas.
Thanks for putting the A1 to the test, Ben! That topple alert was unfortunate, and looking into your other feedback as well! Ride on ⚡
Dope review, love how you really test it to its limit with all those jumps. I really hope you get the Ristretto 512 and do the same testing. Its my favorite bike currently and I ordered one. Hopefully they ship it in November.
i tried to tell them during their indiegogo campaign that they didnt create the bike with rear suspension sag in mind and they didnt listen. everyone you see on this bike has the back sagging down pretty bad in the back.
Yeah, no one designing eBikes really seems to get it: they’re either super stiff and useless or super saggy.
Does it have adjustable air shocks though so it can be fixed or…?
The Japanese motorcycle brands aren’t going to make this mistake when they finally commit to the US market.
it didnt look like an air shock in a few of the review videos. im not sure if the air valves of an air shock would have clearance inside of that frame because they stick out at weird angles. if that bike already has a 200mm shock i dont think there are air shocks bigger than like 210mm, it might need a 225 spring shock squeezed in there.@@Smaug1
Its been 9 Months and 800 Miles Later. I am absolutely in love with this Bike.
Ben: Given your review, I would wait a bit until some things are worked out but all-in-all nice bike. Thank you for your video.
I have been so tempted by this bike but I am not sure it will do as much off road as I want. I don't do anything crazy on my Surron, but I do like to take it in grass and dirt and hills. No jumping or anything.
I also am a little put off by the fact I can't get the orange on the A1.
I'm also a little worried about the advertising and weird pricing that keeps changing.
This bike looks so cool and futuristic, I would love to get my hands on it one day!
Can you do a review on the new cycleboard???
Would you say this is better than the eahora Juliet?
Been debating on which one I should get .. this one definitely much cooler looking
I think the orange looks dope, awesome design.
Which is a little more off road capable, this or the Rundeer.
It's almost a year and it's even worse. The battery plug pushed in so it can't be charged - I asked for help, they never return my emails.. I fixed it by removing the plug so I could pull it out. The back flap doesn't stay shut anymore, so I have to use tape, the front lap keeps getting loose regardless of how many times I tighten it, and all I hear while driving is rattling, and there's so much more. Far better bikes out there for the money.
I think the soft horn problem could be solved by having a multistage button. Press softly for a soft horn to alert pedestrians, and press harder for a strong horn to alert cars.
Nah, mount a loud motorcycle horn and provide a simple bicycle bell separately for use on the multi-use paths.
Did you test the app?
if they could fix that chaffing seat & gps tracker with on / off, and if you bring your key with you to reboot that battery in case of stalls, then it looks like it can be a decent bike after a v2 & fixes.
Yeah, I hope @ASYNCEBIKES puts up recommended fixes on his site for the customers.
Its ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT.
Async Owner and it has replaced all if my Transportation methods
Got mine for $2800 and yes its worth it.
Can you wheelie it?
@@whocares8921no too heavy
@@whocares8921NOOOO! Way too Heavy at a staggering 128lbs. Also the acceleration is zippy and responsive. However it isn't powerful enough to bust a wheely
We are waiting for the comparison video of go pro 12 and dji action 4
There’s also another downside to all of those decals that you mentioned. In terms of theft. All of those advertising details printed on the bike or essentially a shopping list. Especially the details about the battery because that is the main thing most ebikes get stolen for. so that the expensive batteries can be resold for parts. And this thing is essentially openly advertising that it uses some of the most expensive high capacity lithium ion battery cells to any passerby. Definitely not the best idea.
This is one of the coolest looking E-Bikes I have seen.
Looks really good. Comfort is priority though. I felt your pain in heat😁
Haha thanks! Normally I enjoy the exercise but no gears and wide saddle = not too fun.
i think you would need manually to go to disable the pas
cood you get the hiboy s2
Go Pro 12 review?
I just wish the saddle was longer for a second rider
750 watt? Async says 1200 watt with 2500 peak
I really like this bike but I think I’m settling with the wired freedom. 😱 a lot cheaper.
Cool bike 😎👍
Under worst case scenario, the range you will get on a A1 Pro is a very *solid 37 miles/59 kilometers* per full charge. 150 miles is too optimistic.
Closer to 60-80 miles full throttle on a full charge battery, also depending on size and weight of user
need a ebike which follows CGS units 😅😅
If the styling is not paramount, Ariel X-Class is a contender.
If it is, Ride1Up Revv1 is a contender.
Probably this is the best electric bike
3.5k is solid motorcycle money
That is not a bike at all IMO....that is just an electric motorbike. I like the look of it, but try to pedal that thing around...lol
No, it's actually more of an Electric Scooter, it isn't powerful enough to be considered a Motorcycle. Top Speed is 35mph. It's zippy, but the acceleration isn't strong enough for normal road/traffic use. I keep my Async A1 Pro to the Bike Trails, and Residential Raods. Only if I absolutely have to, will I get into traffic on a 35mph Road. However I really don't like to, because I am more likely to get pulled over by a Cop.
Honestly this Ebike, is everything a Person Needs in regular Spring/Summer transportation method.
I had lost my Driver's License a couple years ago. I can get it back but with my Async Ebike, I just don't need it
Can you run 36 mph the whole time?
Maybe try actually watching the review, ya ding-dong.
750w? I thought it was a 1200w motor. Other people hit by 36mph on it.
It’s 750w in class 1/2/3…off road is 1200w I think.
it’s not really an old guy aesthetic 😎
Compare to the pricing of Super 73 of course its worth it.
😆 Super73 seems wayyy overpriced
Wrap that thing in some 3m vinyl
I wonder if they put all of that signage on review units intentionally since they know it’s going on camera. Maybe? Yeah that’s atrocious lol
That small seat alone brings the value down considerably.
At $3500 ill take a talaria XXX
Looks like an expensive electric letterbox
That product it not good the company told they will replace the parts what I need after 3 months using it the battery connection are problems until now I didn’t receive it I talked to there employee they replace it for 15 days but until now I’m waiting for it I didn’t receive the part
Im conflicted between getting the A1 PRO for the looks, and the WIRED Freedom for stealth and speed.
I can't decide.
$2799 for the A1 PRO (with discounts, tax, shipping included)
$2350 for the WIRED Freedom
I feel you. I’m debating on this bike or the eahora juliet .. both have good range but this one is just so cool looking 😅
⚡⚡🤙🏼⚡⚡
No. Hard stop!
4K e-bike ..it’s ugly designs..weird looking bike..😂😂
Cool design but sounds like it’s a Chinese junk
had mine for a few days, build quality is actually pretty good even though it fully built in china. So far so good.
The majority are ,only expensive ones are made in Taiwan 🇹🇼 😅
Nope.
Should be $1,000. less.
Too overpriced for nothing..
The bike design looks wack it's not great trying to stand out, the staddle is not good at all, it should be a concept,
This is the most ridiculious yet. Remember when we had motorcycles and designers worked tirelessly to make them look cool and comfortable. Now we have eBikes and they create lazy impractical designs and call modern ;)
But it will turn heads! 😅
@@AuthenTech So will a 1980 Dautsun spray-painted orange and smoking from a blown head gasket. And at least, it will have a seat.
NO GOPRO 12 REVIEW YET??
