Tip tup driving backwards isn't the only example. In the opening sequence Diddy driving a track backwards. I noticed it when I was a kid and everyone was like who cares lol

I always had a theory that future fun land had a battle mini game using airplanes. But they probably scrapped the idea last minute. But if you notice in SpacePort Alpha there is hole on a wall very peculiar that is similar to all the other locations of keys in the other worlds.

Man a Diddy Kong Racing remake or sequel should happen. With Microsoft allowing Nintendo to have Banjo stuff I don't think it's crazy for them to be allowed to use characters like Banjo and Conker like they avoided in Diddy Kong Racing DS.
Let's hope a sequel or remake(again) happens,or the game comes to Switch Online,at least.
@@MisterAIG I think at the very least it will be in Switch Online. After Banjo being allowed, it's not too crazy to think an exclusive Nintendo Diddy Kong game wouldn't get there. But time will tell.

Conker would probably, if not definitely, not appear in a remake or sequel to Diddy Kong Racing

The second Location from the Intro is obviously fossil canyon
The kids singing at 8:06 is when you get close to the butterflies. They sing like kids
I always found some of the camera work in this game to be a bit daunting... Also I remember nearly 10 years ago seeing someone drive in an eerily empty unused opening version of the hub world and someone saying it felt like a creepypasta. I always found that interesting.
Also how they just went ahead and made the unlockable characters the best without telling you any stats too. Fair. 8)
I then wonder how Taj's stats would've been if he was kept playable. It's weird how he wasn't but you unlock Drumstick and it's like... who is he? Why?
Then lastly it's interesting that Taj was going to be playable in DK Racing but got cut yet again since the game wasn't released lol. He didn't even really come from the DK series so.... Kinda a weird character no?
Oh yeah and Diddy Kong Tricky > Star Fox Tricky.
In the instruction Manual, Drumstick was the island champion and the fastest drive(which is a lie due to T.T. bring THE TRUE fastest driver in the game. Taj should of been in the original game, not sure why he was cut. Was the guy driving in the unused area video still up?

The unused song I wish had been used, it's great, and Sherbert Island is the only world to use the same song twice, this could have helped fix that.

Just my own take, but i believe the map is like a museum of the timeline of our world, or maybe it has its own lore idk
Each world has 4 track representing the 4 seasons.
Also for every tracks there is 3 lap, 3x4 = 12 like the 12 month in a year (cycle of the world around the sun)
The dino domain could represent a primitive time..then some event (like the explosion of a volcano..) lead the world to freezing temperature killing the dinos..
Then the ice melt and brings up water level, leting aquatics animals prosper..
Then we are at a dark time, where humankind starts to becoming sedentary and build structures, field, houses, worship entities ?
And at the end, the technology has led us to conquer space and leave earth…

Surprised there was no mention of Horseshoe Gulch
If the intro scene with the T-rex is fossil canyon what if what we're actually witnessing is the t rex off to murder the brontosaurus? Or what If bumper actually led him out of his natural habitat and in a bid to escape led him to the green dino?
I guess it would have to be at least 1 day after the race in the game though

You ever notice the world theme music from area to area seems to complete itself? Like…. Ok I’m probably reading into this more than what’s there but…
Open world intro theme is like spring
The ocean theme is like summer
The village theme is like fall
And then obviously winter
Winter has this tambourine assisted beat that goes really good with the normal world theme and the ocean theme blends really well with the village theme.
You think that was intentional?
Either way they must have had a blast making the music.

I don’t remember where or how I heard it but someone told me that if you stop pressing the gas before you hit the boost arrow , you will go faster. I know it sounds crazy, but I did it all the time and it worked. I even tested it as a kid.

@@MisterAIG YEAH! It’s awesome! I don’t think it works on Mario kart though. I could be wrong, since I didn’t like Mario kart so much. I was more of a diode long racing guy.

I never played the ds version,since I never own a ds.If so,was it really more difficult than WizPig Round 1 N64 Version?
I never played the 64 version so I can't tell you the difficulty for Wizpig, but for DS, the 2nd version is the harder one due to the missiles shot from the spaceship being turned into homing missiles, so you have to take evasive maneuvers, which means Wizpig catches up to you, and if you get too close to Wizpig, you get shocked.
@@WubbaizyShipper1 In Wizpig round 1on n64 version,there are no balloons,only boost pads.Wizpig rubberbanding AI was notorious for always catching up to the player in a instance. This was apparently tone down for the ds version.

What is going on with the video quality it looks like a VHS tape
Its running on real hardware,with using a eon super 64 adapter plug to my N64,then plug to my Vizio tv and HD60S that connected to my laptop. As for the video quality flickering each time,I look up it and apparently some N64 console will work using a modern adapter,like EON 64,but there might be some quality issue not severe tho.

Why does your footage look like The Walking Dead?
I record the footage using a eon super 64 adapter connected to my n64 and then connected to my HD60S capture card. Not sure if its my n64 console or the adapter itself, so that why its like that.
This iceberg needs some improvements
How so? I'll love some feedback to improve on making iceberg videos.
@@MisterAIG Well, first off, some of those positions seems kinda repetitive (like the intro segments with wrong vehicles), and even some of these are kinda outdated now ("DKR may never get re-released" but now Switch Online will have B-K in the N64 library). I could also improve the overall presentation of it, since it's really hard to read, unless you have 720p activated in the CZcams options, which i find annoying sometimes. It lacks of some spicy stuff (not just theories), for example:
-"Did you know the DS version has unused music from the OG N64 counterpart?"
-"Game Reviews on the NDS remake"
-"Voices differences between versions (even tho they used the original actors in some characters, also to eliminate the Taj and Diddy ones, and expand a little more here)"
-"Conker doesn't miss the DKR era"
-"Timber Island/DKR exists in the Mario/DK universe"
-"DKR Original Voice Actors (could have been a really good part for either layer 2 or 3)"
-"Timber in other Rare games"
-"Wizpig planned playable for the N64 version (a theory of mine)"
-"Tiptup's Nuts & Bolts (joke entry)"
-"Microsoft characters in the NDS version (these being Tiptup and Bumper)"
-"Banjo's _"not first"_ debut"
-"Tiny's re-desing comes from DK Bongo Blast for the Gamecube (another theory of mine)"
-"Speedrunning (perfect for 1st layer)"
-"Tier lists (perfect for 2nd layer)"
-"Manga adaptations"
-"Club Nintendo - Sag niemals Holerö!"
And lastly, i'd recommend doing some research for the next time. It annoyed me that you didn't considered Tricky as the same one from Star Fox Adventures/Dinosaur Planet, when they indeed are. Tricky was indeed inspired by the same dinosaur in Diddy Kong Racing, and it's even named after him. The game was developed even a year before the Nintend x Microsoft negotiation with Rare, so there was no name changing, or anything like that to excuse it.

@@frannielmartinez Thanks for the criticism,I read all of the suggestions you brought up. Here are my honest opinions about it.:
I was going to add SAG NIEMALS HOLERO,mangas adaptations,tier lists,and unused ds version music,but decided not to due to my shitty laptop slowing down,the constant loud fan noise, wanted to finish this iceberg as soon as possible, and kind of wish, I did added it to the iceberg.
I was aware og version and ds version of the game used different voices,but I felt like it wasn't to worthy to be on my the iceberg,same thing goes for speed running and game reviews.
"Timber appearing in other games", I made video about it on my channel months before this video and I mention it in the iceberg.
I couldn't found any info on Wizpig being a playable character in og version.
Not sure what "Tiptup's Nuts and Bolts"is ,unless you mean by "The Tiptup Theory",I mention in the video or something else completely.
I wasn't aware that Tiny Kong redesigned came from the cancelled GameCube game of DK Bongo Blast.
I want to know more about"Conker doesn't miss the DKR ERA",seem like iceberg material.
The Tricky situation is well "tricky". In a supposed it Rare Scribes ,a blog when Rare used to do back in the day on their website,Tricky was going to be the same Tricky from DKR,but decided not to anymore.
