the last 17 and a half years of my life have gone by literally in a flash. It genuinely feels like I was in kindergarten yesterday. I never stopped to look around and think about how good of a moment it was I was just having fun, but I didn’t realize I was making ever lasting memories that would shape who I am today. One thing to take away from me today, is slow down and enjoy the moment you’re in, because before you know it your life will be over. Juice WRLD died at 21 years of age and so so many more people died at a young age. Don’t take time for granted, literally you won’t even know it and you’ll be dead. So please go live your life literally to the fullest, go do that thing you’ve always wanted to do, go talk to that person you miss, tell your parents you love them before they are gone from this world, and make use of every single second you have on this earth. I wish you all peace and happiness

Has anyone noticed the actors Disney hires now are a lot younger actors who are around middle school or elementary vs actors from the good old Disney which were mostly actual teens in high school? I think they’re target audience changed to be a lot younger
I don’t think I’ve ever cried as much, I just wanna be a kid again, when everything was simple.
As a kid, we always want to become adults and do some of the stuff adults do, but now as we are all probably teens and soon adults we want to go back to our childhood and still feel the happiness of being young again.
I can't imagine how my childhood would be if i didn't watch all those shows when i was a kid. I'm glad i didn't grew up in this new generation with their phones and tablets. Never lose the kid in you.
It makes me kinda sad when I mention something from before 2012 and my little sister has no idea what it is. I'm actually glad that I didn't grow up with all this high tech technology.

Guys it's normal to think like that but what do you think other people have said about our generation? Things change, so do life, it's time to understand that, they enjoy things that we don't understand. When you're saying that peppa pig is stupid because you grew up watching Ben 10, there was 20 years ago a boy who said Ben 10 is stupid because he grew up with He-Man or the Smurfs.
What makes me emotional is not the shows. It's remembering the feelings when i was watching them, remembering what kind of a human i was and what kind of thoughts i had. Remembering the life i had back then,

I think most to every teenager feels the same way, you weren’t born in the wrong generation but teenagers struggle to identify themselves, plus with all the hormones and insecurities it’s normal to feel out of place.

Joy Hatake You’re still very young, you aren’t even a teenager yet. You should take all the time you have right now and turn it into something. Right now, society isn’t the best. People are being more judgmental and many people feel like they have to act much older. 12 year olds in the last decade were very childish, not acting like how they do now. Your teenage years are going to be like a roller coaster. Some years will be your best, and some your worst. Life is only going to go by faster. Make what you can out of it.

It’s weird to think that doing things we did when we were young were memories, we just thought it was a part of life, we didn’t think anything of it. And now we’re growing up, now it our job to remember the great times we had as a child, to hold on to those great moments. Things are changing, a lot, for everyone. Those good times are part of the past now, we can’t go back anymore.

i turned 16 yesterday and as much as i realize how much of a traumatic childhood i had.. i miss it, i miss the toys even though my family could only afford things for my birthday and christmas, the iconic cereals, the shows, the memories i made on my own. kind of personal but, my mom would watch studio ghibli movies with me when i was super young and that's how i grew to love anime and they were my biggest comfort thing ever, but ever since then, especially now in my teenage years i can't help but literally break down because of how much i miss those days. nostalgia is so weird, but i guess that's how it is.

Totally understand you. I really miss my childhood. Time now is harder at 21. I miss seeing all my friends every day of the week and just to have fun. Now when I think about my childhood it is a good and bad feeling at the same time. Good because my childhood was wonderful anf bad because I know I can never relive it again. I will never have the feeling of being a kid again. I will never ever doing funny childhood things together with my friends. It’s over now.
The anime I always watched was Pokemon, all my friends watched it. We also played the games and had a lot of fun. 4th gen was the oke we played the most. We loved the first Transformers movie when it came out in 2007 and we played on the school yard or at class trips with our Transformers action figures.

I turned 16 just a month ago and I can’t believe how quick our childhood has went. The sad part about this stuff is we are starting to grow up and we have to accept the fact that our childhood is gone even though we don’t want to accept it. I miss these memories so much but as sad as it is to not be able to be a child again I can always have the memories to cherish.

Im only 13 but i stull feel nostalgic because i saw all these shows/movies a few years later and it has been like 3 years since the last time j watched an animated movie and i remmeber 6 years ago playing angry birds on ny dads macbook and i just feel so sad i wish i was 7 again when i didnt have to worry about anything i miss it so much i miss watching cartoons with my grandma i just miss everything so much
