I always found it interesting in how the Sicilian mafia seemingly didn't do anything when Cesare Bonventre got hit. He was mafia from Sicily as well.. Anyway, great video with excellent information, nice job once again E.N.
He was made into Bonano family which means his death was an internal matter. Sicilian mafia would not interfere with another sovereign. Plus, I bet someone cleared it with the Sicilian. You know, due diligence.
I grew up with Cesare jr. in Lindenhurst, Long Island. He’s good people his son. Straight life. Donated a kidney to save someone in need. And to answer your question, allegedly they say the Sicilian and American factions are just that, separate. So there was nothing they could do about it. It came from the top. Again, this is what they allegedly say. And Cesare jr. called me the day the F.B.I. came to the house to let him know that Joe Massino was one of the guys the killed his father. When he flipped, or anyone for that matter confesses to a murder they notify the immediate family first. Never forget that call. Anyway, hope that helps…
In the mid 90’s The Bonnanos under Massinos rule was a very powerful family ,especially the Queens faction from Ridgewood, Glendale, Middle Village and Maspeth and the Brooklyn faction from Bushwick.

@@kumarg3598 Doesn't seem like it was cleared, that's what I was really responding to.

@nagone11 not sure what you mean. If it was cleared with Sicilians, it explains why nothing happened.
@@kumarg3598 That they may have had a conversation and to make sure there would be no retaliation..that's all I meant.
You should name all of the mobsters in the video in the description. A lot of these guys I never heard of before. Love your channel.
