What setting do you use on the heat sealer to seal the LongLife Bag? How about for the Kordon bag? Have you had any shipping concerns heat sealing the opening instead of tying the opening? Using a heat sealer seems much more efficient both time-wise and bag-wise. Thanks for posting this test!

this must be youtube magic, tossing these bags across the street and it doesn't pop... yet i mail them, and people tell me bag was popped and fish is dead... wtf.. lol
well these were my fav bags , fish would last a good week in them , out of thousands only 3 ever had a leak during shipping but sadly now become hard to find in stock ANYWHERE !!! and after having these no other bag I have trialed has even come close

Good day to you. We just watched you vid, very nice. Your name came up when I was talking to twincitiesguppies about shipping. So Rick and I decided to watch a couple of you vids. Do you have an opinion about how well the long life bags work compared to the kordons? Do you think fish can stay alive for a weak at a time? We have been using the kordon brand four a couple years now. We were thinking about using the long life to cut some costs on shipping. we have been shipping 50 to 70 plus guppies a week. We don't want to take the chance of loosing fish just to save a few dollars. So any input would be great. We did have a box in March get lost and returned us 19 days later. All the guppies were alive. That was with using the kordons. We couldn't believe it. Rick ordered some long life to run tests but he always hates having to sacrifice fish to see if something works. Be safe, and have a wonderful day.
So far from my experience the kordons are the best. But that being said, the longlife have worked well for me. I've had two pop during shipping but its. Very hard to diagnose why, and theorize if the kordons would have popped too.
I’m actually more concerned about proof that gas exchange happens and ammonia doesn’t get too high than I am about the durability of the bags.
There is plenty of info on breather bags online if you are really concerned about it. Just do a quick google search :)

Since you are putting them to the test and experimenting, this is important results, continue adding +1 breather bag, per shipping, until it becomes un-breathable.
For Example,
1st shipping package, 1single bag
2nd shipping package, 2double bag
3rd shipping package, 3triple bag
4th so on and 5th so on ect.
Continue until you get a casualty.
It's kind of stupid and seems like asking a question we already know the answers to, you are already doing it so, already pass the point of no return, let's yolo it!!
I ended up stopping double bagging because they did not seem to breathe well stacked

1. Hand-tied/rubber band.
2. Heat-sealed.

That was really inhumane what you did with that "goldfish" (Crackerus Cheesemani). There's really only two ways to house these glorious creatures: In a foil bag, sealed for freshness and... MY HUNGRY MOUTH! **straps package of goldfish on to face like a horse's feedbag** OMNOMNOMNOMNOM.... Pfft, "breather bag".... YOU MONSTER! OMNOMNOMNOMNOM...
