My racks work well. Have anywhere from 10 to 65 gallons on mine. You could also turn 6 20 highs side by side since the racks are 6’ long. That’s 48 tanks!

This is getting pretty exciting. Cant wait to see your website. I am really into South & Central American dwarf Cichlids lately. I like the Curviceps, Cutteri Cichlids, Cryptoheros Nanoleuteus, Kribs, Etc. But I love all kinds of tetras & rasboras, barbs. The list goes on.
You made my ears perk up when I heard you say Platies,Swordtails and Corydoras I can't wait!,🌿💚
Unfortunately my corydoras didnt come in on this order. Hopefully some next time.

I too only use one scoop of sand/coral/gravel in each 10 gal rack tank. Works awesome for livebearer fry. Enders, IFGA Guppies, Swordtails, etc. Also use sponges and box filters. Fritz is good stuff. LFS doesn't have it so I stick with Prime. lol I had someone troll me hard when I talked about my sponge 'garden', telling me how that was a myth, toxic gases, and that I was irresponsible and senile. yep, they walk among us. I add one small clay pot with a plant in it to each tank. We have the same set ups lol. Glad to hear about the QT period. Will it be observation only and treat symptoms or some basic meds to deworm, remove parasites, etc? Thanks Bob. love this more relaxed vlog style. It suits you well. Hope the reptiles are well.
Quarantine will be two weeks, ill hit them with general cure once them observe for two weeks =) also plan on upgrading to 20 and 40 gallon tanks and will do clay pots with plants as well =)
I have a giant butt load of long fin Albino and regular color plecos. Some juveniles some sub adults all a pain in my butt. Changing water in a 40g every 2 days to keep it clean. Wish I could get them to you. Also a million rams horn snails to re-home.

I just bought some racks from Home Depot didn’t read the fine print. 200 pounds per shelve well that’s not going to work for my 20 gallon which the min 222 pounds
Its a shame they stopped carrying the really good racks. But they should have some heavier duty racks.
Steenfott Aquatics yeah I want them in my house and hate for it to look ugly. But Home Depot Gladiator racks look ok and they can hold the weight. Have a good week. Are you located in Seattle? They are lexan sheets sold at home depot, they come in 8x2' and run around $36

I was selling them to my LFS but I don't think the people he sells them to take good care of them. Also it is my opinion that he doesn't really know how to take good care of them. I keep telling him they need wood and the should sell wood to people who purchase them but I don't think he does. It hurts my heart knowing that I take the time to give these fish a nice breeding place with good food and all the right conditions to breed and they go to homes where they soon die because people don't know how to take care of them. I am not interested in selling single fish. But I would be like a whole sale to someone who will sell them to good caring homes. All healthy, dewormed, eating good and well adjusted to being a family pet.
