Wow the traffic at the beginning was horrid but wow worth it for the exploring and stunning sea views. Loved the underwater shots
Oh yeah crossing the Panama Canal on a bicycle is one heck of an accomplishment! Well done and congrats. We heard that sometimes the police will stop cycle tourist from crossing and make you get a ride from someone, so we timed it so that we were there very early on a Sunday morning. Police on motorcycles were there just before the bridge but on the other side of the road and there was that concrete wall separating the lanes; however, there was an opening about a mile back. We had already told each other that if we "see" police to pretend we didn't "see" police and just keep riding as fast as we can. It wasn't too long after seeing the motorcycle cop that he was behind us blocking the lane and escorted us across the bridge. What a feeling it was to have made it. There were high fives between us. ~Ron & Petra
Wow! I get seasick just by watching it! Great video.
Awesome. How happy and healthy you both look, it's taken ten years off you. I last tuned in a year ago when you were in Spain as I live in Spain, the weight has dropped off you both. I said then that you are an inspiration but I had no idea you've travelled so far, wow just wow. Be careful of the traffic, take care, happy travelling.
¡Que bonita! I can't wait to find out what adventures await you in S.America❤
Stay safe down there! That lead up to the bridge looks more scary than 101 in Oregon! 😲
Hello! I've enjoyed watching your videos and your travels! I have a-I guess-technical question. How do you keep that Ortlieb duffle bag securely attached to the back of Debs bike so that it doesn't move or fall? It looks like it rides on top of the panniers, but how? Is it daisy chained in some way to the panniers?
Where in Colombia did you land?
