His struggle between the life of an agent and that of a loving father is what gives this movie it's humanity. So many movies have nothing but action, like a cartoon. His love and caring and patience for his daughter is priceless. He comes back with the purple bike despite his daughter being somewhat of a brat. What a wonderful dad!
I agree with you and I really enjoyed the recap . I think they would of had a better life if his choice of jobs were different ,lol 🤣 like a truck driver . They just wouldn't of had that money 💰 but they would of had him in their life . They would have been happier .
It was an excellent film.
À B
It's movies like this that made me forgive Kevin Costner for his bad acting earlier in his career.
Even cartoons have more character than that. The batman animated series had a lot of heart to it. Yes it had to be kept simple. But simple often can be the most impactful.
This was actually a good part for Amber Heard. She plays a psychopathic killer and is somehow pretty convincing.
She didn't have to prep much, for the part. Mostly, she just acted naturally.
Somehow???
I was just about typing why I wouldn't watch the recap after seeing Amber Heard within the first few scenes... then I read your comment. Thanks.
lol
There was a deleted scene where she pooped in the bed. It wasn’t in the script. She just did it.
In the end of the movie, Amber Heard's character gives Ethan the drug, showing that she cares about the protagonist. This proves that the movie is truly a work of fiction
HAHAHAHA
LOL
Haha
Damn..!! Amber should just leave this planet
LOL! Would be more true were the drug given to Johnny Depp as there is a non-null chance that Amber has human-like feelings for Kevin Cosner, but point taken.
Seen it, good movie, actually more realistic than average action movie because Ethan is kinda sloppy, get's his arse kicked. He's vulnerable but tough and determined.
Name??

"Hit the dislike button twice, just to be sure." Very funny! I love it. Your videos are marvellous. Thanks!
That Italian recipe scene was actually pretty funny.
My dog stepped on a bee!
They need a babysitter for their 20 year old daughter? That's great writing.
Who is 20 yrs old in high school? I haven't seen the movie, but I would think she is 16 or 17.
@@niliradanad Even then.... a babysitter for a 16-17 year old? HAHA. Nice try.
Watch out, you might lose the tip of your finger for this comment
@Fly Beep She's an American teenager that is living in Paris with no other family to look out for her.
@@handsomeXand she's probably unemployed and since she's in France, french law probably won't allow her to get employed until a certain age of around 18-20
Did this man's wife really get mad at him for not making dinner when she knows he's dying of cancer?
Briffault's law
It’s Amber Heard. It isn’t going to make sense.
It's about NOT being with their daughter, giving her the time he has left. Not food.
I actually loved this movie , everything about it , all the characters were endearing, the scenery, music , complicated relationship with his daughter , just loved it and still watch it at least once a year
The part with him riding in the cab after getting the news is really something. McG!
I realized Amber is good in a villain role. She couldn't be a leading actress but a character actor. Being mean perfectly fits with her
This movie was actually very good and worth watching twice.
What's the name of the movie?
@@relaxingrainstormvideos 3 days to kill
I liked it
I loved this movie and have seen it 5 times. All main characters play their roles perfectly. They are 100 percent in character throughout film. Great acting as usual for Kevin Costner. All 3 women; Amber Heard, Hailee Steinfeld, and Connie Nielson play their roles very convincingly. I have followed both Amber and Hailee through the years as they have matured as actresses. Regardless what happens in peoples' private lives, their image on screen is defined line by line, act by act, film by film. All 4 were great and I recommend everyone to see movie.
It looks interesting but I can’t bring myself to watch ah at all, her last 6 months lies and deceit overrides any interest in a movie.
@@billb1861 thank you
I could care ,less then less about what any person has done in their lives, if they happen to be in a movie i wanna watch I'm still gonna watch . Chances are ill enjoy the movie and forget who I'm supposed to be hating this week anyway. Why screw yourself out of something you will enjoy , just to spite a superstar who will 100% never know who the phuck you are. I'm not a lefty or anything i just sorta thought that up.
@@macesponkeysponkyville6299 thank you... perfectly stated. Regardless of latest Hollywood 'gossip' I watch actors 'act'. Their private lives are none of my business. When their private lives becomes public, I divide by 10 because it is always exaggerated.
Amber turd was great! 🤣
My favorite scene in the entire movie is when Costner says, "so that is what hell looks like". Came out of nowhere and was completely gratuitous.
When he first saw Amber Heard??
@@moncorp1 About 1/2 way thru. Can't miss it.
@@moncorp1 He’s on the floor and she steps above and over his head. He looks up and sees she’s not wearing panties and sees her cooter. That’s when he says, so that’s what hell looks like
Looking forward seeing this movie on DVD !
Lol
Man.. the line "hit the dislike button twice, to make sure" is hilarious 😂
But...you undislike the second time.....ahahhh...
Twice would just remove the first dislike. Lol..
Outstanding..BRINGS BACK MEMORIES OF LONG AGO.....
This is one of those shows that as soon as it ends I start it right back up and watch it again. The irony in A H's part. Perfectly Casted Movie!
That awkward moment went the parents and the in-laws are going for each other's throats literally 😂
At the 10:15 mark, elevators do not free-fall crash when the cables are cut or break. There are side spring arms that are held back (counter-balanced) by the weight of the elevator. If the cable snaps then these spring arms expand outward stopping the fall. I believe the Otis Elevator Company invented these spring arms in the 1800's. Otis demonstrated them several floors high by cutting the cables while being inside the elevator. It made a great sales gimmick. We have skyscrpers because of these safety elevators.
Skyscrapers.
Exactly
Script writers can do amazing things with words.
Alrighty then
@@paulgentry5006 Yes, it's Hollywood. One is supposed to suspend one's sense of reality. For instance, I watched Top Gun last night. Am I really suppose to believe that a 57 year old actor can out perform 20-something Top Guns? Or ride a motorcycle around San Diego without a helmet (Cal Law requires one), or shoot past a guard gate on your MC without being machine gunned? Of course! It's Hollywood. Now back to Ms. Heard. We don't really know what is in the last syringe... it could be a lethal dose of fentanyl making the plot just a little more realistic.
Thanks, Brother Nice Explanation🙏.
The information extraction scenes are the best 😂😂
Kevin Costner's number one movie of the year unless they made another one. but we all love the postman too. right 🤷
I’m a bit shy to admit this… but I have fond memories of him in a much different movie and role. For me… it’s Water World and I thought he looked so cool when I was a kid
This guy has a busier itinerary than a soccer mom! 🤣
I never seen any movies with AH in it. Even aquaman. Glad to saw her before whole video.
I've seen the movie, but enjoyed this summary _because of_ having seen the movie. "Sweet!"
The dislike button joke was comedy gold.
Great narration. 👏🏻👏🏻
I saw that movie some years ago when it came out. It was very well done. A movie I could watch a number of times. I really thought it was both clever and of course funny, when Ethan had the Itialian guy tell Zoe how to make sauce for the spaghetti.
My favorite movies of Kevin Costner 's are 'The Postman', 'Criminal' and 'Waterworld'; as well as 'Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves', Dances with Wolves and Tin Cup.
I was impressed when Amber Heard's character cut off her husband's finger with a broken vodka bottle then blamed it on the dog.
Thank you US Recap for putting the title right in the beginning of the video. Many other channels just recap the movie/show but don’t put the title in as you do. With you, I know I’ll know what the movie is within a minute or so, and I’ll then know what to look for.
You're welcome..
That was a CLASSIC MOVIE when I saw it 👌 👍Great, LOVED IT.!
This was a great and wonderful movie.
Did Costner have a story about Heard showing up in his trailer dressed in her birthday suit? Was it during the filming of this movie? Was she in a romantic relationship with Depp at the time?
That’s the rumor!
I'm glad I watched this first; there is way too much killing for me to sit through this film, but I like anything Kevin Costner was in. So thanks...
Man gets a reminder about daughter's birthday on his phone and decides to use the pay phone to call. Sums up the movie for me
This was a good adventure movie with a good sprinkling of humor, well acted and cast.
Just clicked in my brain you saying if you don't like the video click twice just to be sure. LOL
Love your recaps and sense of humor
Good movie. Solid cast across the board. It's probably not gonna win an Oscar but I'd watch it again.
Love your condensed version!
Amber Herd played an awesome role here.
This was actually a pretty good movie--better than that even!
I’m surprised how much I like this film.I don’t know how well it did,but I think it’s a great action flick, with good characters and good stories within the 2 main stories.
I forgot that I had seen this movie. It was fun to watch the recap.
Fabulous film.
I have on DVD and still love it.
Good movie, father daughter type humor!
This movie is a lot better than the monotone way this guy conveys it. As with most Costner movies, it's got all the right elements. Action, a decent story and humor.
I'm beginning to think this voice is an AI. Some words don't get said in a natural way. But if it is artificial, it's overall quite impressive.
I love this kind of story.
Underrated movie. Good plot, lots of action, quality acting in this film.
A movie I revisit periodically...enjoyable Costner pic...
Instead of The Albino Man, they should have named him The Alopecia Man
Loved this movie
I have this movie, but I enjoyed this commentary as well.
Thank god nobody was thrown down the stairs in the movie.....
When I saw Amber, I laughed so load that my Dog shit the bed.
That was a really good movie! IMHO
These recaps are the greatest thing ever! Watch a full movie in minutes. Lol!
I saw this movie and it is worthy of watching perhaps once every year
Another excellent review . I'll probably watch this one too . It looks well written , & well acted , even if the ending is highly unlikely . Well done ! P.S. I tried the advice , to prove a point to someone , lol . You got a like , after I made my point .
I've never heard of this movie. I'll have to watch.
Underrated film, very good, very entertaining.
Wow another nice movie again sir thanks God bless
*US Recap*
Man am I glad as someone not in the US getting recapped on this weeks US news
For heaven's sake, Vivi could have done the job effortlessly.
This was a great movie, as is Mr. Brooks. Costner makes a great badass character
I watched another movie that had Amber Heard in it, and actually, she did a pretty good job.
I liked her in "Drive Angry" and I think she isn't that bad of an actress, especially compared to many of the actresses/political driven SJW's. It's kind of sad people can't/won't differentiate between the private person and the actress.
I can appreciate good performances while not liking the actor/actress: personally I think Tom Cruise is crazy, but I also think he's a hell of an actor, just like I think Johnny Depp is a highly functional drunk, but also a very good actor.
True, if actors want to support a coup, and a party that endorses it, why should we be against them, it's only a coup.
@@ivanlaracuente6234 If that was a coup then it was the saddest coup in the history of modern civilization.
@@tjroelsma Ok with all due respect, I don't mind anyone's personal life as far as drugs or beliefs etc. She's frigging batshit and a scumbag. There's a difference. Definitely one of Costner's best movies and believe it or not Amber Heard is awesome in it.
Amber Heard is a very good actress and she always does excellent work in every movie she is in and Kevin Costner is very good actor and he always does excellent work in every movie he is in.
@@marshaloiscamillephilpotts2133 I disagree about both of them but hey we all have our own opinions.
@@davidmancini8286 Yeah they're definitely hit and miss. Costner is a better actor than Heard though
@@el34glo59 yes I agree Costner is a better actor than Amber Heard. I just think that Kevin Costner plays the same character in almost every movie. That quiet ready to explode guy.
thank you for making the movie shorter 🤠 and if everyone is wondering yes that is y picture of me 14 years ago 🤠
Wild, just wild! How everything, including Hollywood movies are turned upside down, and we don't realize that this is mirroring actual life.
Crazy ass great movie. I adored it.
The drug treatment was a series of three shots. If he didn't kill The Wolf, he wouldn't get the 3rd shot but she relented.
Thank You
You're welcome
Amber Heard is already down. She deserves a chance like all of us. Thats just me.
at 0:53 seconds narrator says Costner makes a briefcase exchange with the Albino BUT THAT IS WRONG. Costner is really
doing a scan or x-ray image of the other briefcase to find out if it contains what they are looking for.
This is a good movie!!!!!!
Would be a good idea to have the title of the movie somewhere huh boss?
As soon as I saw Amber Turd I knew I would never spend a dime or my time watching it.
If that was amber turd I saw I won’t be watching! JUSTICE FOR JOHNNY!
Great movie
I have seen the movie but I very much like the fast recap. Great job👍
Thanks!
This was Super
Hotel in Paris "Jugoslavija" Nice 😁
Real good movie with a great Kevin Costner 😊
well , yeah written to a formula but I still watched every minute and marveled that this poor guys' life looks just like mine. Ai Yi Yi
That's the Hotel Yugoslavija in Belgrade not Paris. The hotel was actually demolished during the making of this movie. I think the building itself was built on ground subject to a high watertable which caused the structure to slowing sink from the late 1970s onwards. By the early 2000s, the hotel was in dilapidated state and was shut down.
pure comedy gold.
Damn. I like the recap better than the movie!!!!!!!!! :)
I have seen this movie several times in the past (three times?) I hope to see it again soon. There are many scenes that are funny and completely out of character for a CIA agent. Reminds me of Peter Sellers, but not the bumbling slapstick of Sellers. Watch the movie, you will find it interesting. Vaughn
Anything with Kevin Costner I'll watch - can't wait to see this one.
I enjoyed this film.
Talk about juggling personal life with work….to the max.
I saw this movie. Was great
What the movie name please
A bit futuristic...but still touched my heart! Kudos to the directors, writers...and especially the actors for rendering an enjoyable cinematic experience...tks to all!
This movie was closer to Waterworld than it was to Yellowstone.
Your sure as hell don’t need to be a fictional cia officer all you need be is a caring father. Results the same. Period.
The title says thugs harassing a young daughter, unaware that her father is a lethal CIA agent
but you have to sit through several other scenes to see the above scenario but by the time you
get through the babbling of the narrator you just don't care anymore.
