    If you want to save money, you can by pass the vaccines if you plan to stay in the major Nigeria cities. If you plan on going out into the Nigerian countryside or wilderness, I recommend you to get vaccines for safety reasons.

    Hello, I’m a dual citizen of USA and Nigeria with two different last names. Nigerian passport bears my maiden name and my American passport bears my married last name which I legally changed from my maiden name. My question is am I gonna need visa to Nigeria?

      Also My visa status was updated to Assessed on November 1st and my flight leaves December 20. Do you think ill get my passport back before I leave next month? I sent them an email and they said I was approved, they are just waiting to get my passport back from the embassy. I'm nervous. I had my visa appt Sept. 29 in LA. It is taking so long! I was supposed to get it back October 26

      You might get it back before you're flight. Keep it mind that you're entering the holiday season, so the post office will be incredibly busy!

      When check in for your flight to Nigeria, the airline company will ask to see your Nigerian Visa prior to allowing you to plane. As long as you have it on the day of your flight, you should be good

    What vaccines do they require

    • @WanderlustAweSyndrome
      @WanderlustAweSyndrome  Před rokem +1

      When I went, the Nigerian government required the approved vaccines. If you're from the US, any of the approved vaccines from the NHS will do. Now, you may not need a vaccine or be required to show proof of vaccine. Check the government tourist website.

      @@WanderlustAweSyndrome Hello but if they do ask for vaccines I have no record and no one has booster and they said take another polio but I didn't know there were different doses and I leave in a week, do you think I'll be ok???

    • @WanderlustAweSyndrome
      @WanderlustAweSyndrome  Před rokem +1

      @@TiffNuLifeGA The Nigerian government will not require you to show vaccines. When I went there during 2021, they wanted to see ONLY a negative test for COVID-19. Now, the global pandemic is over, so you don't need to even show that anymore.
