- Hey everyone! This time, I went light! I had an absolute blast fishing with light tackle on the beach in this session. It started slow with a few wind-knot problems. But in the end, I was stocked. I had some great action, and I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Thanks mate. I appreciate your suport. Yeeeeees! It's so fun. Highly recommend. Always a chance of getting spooled though (good thing in my opinion) haha Where are you based? Curious. Let's go fishing mate đŁđ€
@@DanTheFisho ay would be sick as, what specs would you recommend for a rod n reel for throwing lures into the surf like this? I fish south coast around batemans/ulladulla
For sure. Well... I reckon a rod 7ish foot around 2-5kg with a casting rate of 4g-14g ish paired with a 2500reel 8lb or 10lb braid would be ideal. I use a 7'6 2-4kg with a 2500 8lb braid. If there are no rocks, just take your time hey. I hope this helps. Let's go fishing đŁđ€
Looks like a fun session mate!
So much fun mate. I will defo do it more often if not windy. Imagine hooking a giant Mulloway in that setup? That's a problem I want to have đ€Ł Let's go fish mate. Thanks for your comment đŁđ€

@@miguelsocarras2255 hey mate. Thanks for your comment. I'm using a Shimano Raider 7'6 2-4kg with a 2500 Reel. Nothing too fancy but super fun. I hope this helps. đ€đŁ

Hey champ. This session was using a 7'6" 2-4kg rod with a 2500 reel spooled with a 8lb braid line. I hope this helps. Where are you based? Let's go fishing đŁđ€
