    Pro tip: plug the vent behind the ngauge with dense foam to minimise the risk of condensation build up (it's a problem and I've known one person to have his nGauge fail). It also correctly channels the vent pressure to the other 2 vents.

      Can you elaborate on to do this?

    • @dr3wster

      @@Blazingstorm25 just take a square of foam bigger than the vent channel, squeeze it into a ball and stuff into the hole... No more vented AC behind the nGauge causing a temperature differential and condensation as a result.

      @@maxtkatchouk9599 Not a problem technically, you'll just have a higher pressure at the other vents. Whether that puts more strain on the system, I'm not sure. I never had a problem with 1 plugged over the few years I had it installed (I just sold my mustang :-S)

    Justin, your videos are so much better than Bill’s at CJ’s. I just feel that I relate to you and your advice about parts and installs. I have one question, I have a SCT tuner that I bought from AM in 15 for my 2015GT. Last tune was from Ryan and still having issues with a few things, so would I benefit anything from the In Gauge or should I just call back and give it another try on the SCT stuff? Thanks for you advice and the videos.

    • @americanmuscle
      @americanmuscle  Před 5 lety +1

      That's awesome Scott- I truly appreciate the feedback and kind words. I will say Bill and I are buddies and I think he and his team do a great job over there- but I'm not going to argue with your statement. ;) In regards to your tuning question, I would ask if you've given Ryan some datalogs to help figure things out? That's a vital part of the process a lot of people overlook. But in a nutshell SCT and the Ngauge both have their pros and cons- I like the ngauge for its physical design and ease of use and datalogging. However SCT's support is second to none and their products do offer a couple things the ngauge do not. Either way thanks again and we'll try to keep the vids coming for you Scott! -Justin

    • @americanmuscle
      @americanmuscle  Před 5 lety +3

      Hey Connor! Congrats on the ride- as far as the tuner and E85 go, no you will not need to upgrade fuel injectors for most Naturally Aspirated E85 setups. However, if you end up going forced induction down the road that will more than likely change things but in the meantime you should be good to go with the factory injector and Lund tune!
