got to the point in which he was telling us to turn off our phones and such when i realized... i had to find some popcorn... when i realized that i had no popcorn... i ran down to the nearest convience store (about 6-7 blocks away) realized i could have driven, bought a box of popcorn ,extra butter, and ran home popped the bag of popcorn... and got comfy... lol

Thought it was a bit stink seeing petric unable to make any headway against blackhearts percys and heavy AA. The percy spam just kept coming and with no hard counter Petric was set back extremely hard. Unlimited eco but seemingly no way to utilise it. I think if Petric had been anyone other than sera it would of been gg at 30 min.

Thats painful to see this game just as i forgot about it xD
1st ahwassa didnt drop most of the times, and ataked not by my orders but because bh's units went into the range when ahwassa starts to atack by itself.
With 2nd one i planned to bomb arty and then die above it to kill, but ahwassa has a different idea about its purpose when terrain isnt flat xD One of the most painful and failed games on my memory (well game where i was winning hard and accidently self-destructed acu was more fail xD).
It was still an amazing game. Even with the ahwassa being stupid you made better use of it than most would. I also like that you used strats for something other than sniping of COMs and power, etc.
DaddyThePro Alot of things, the first easy and obvious one is just to build my own t3 arty instead of 2 ahwassas.
I wanted to see that happen so bad ha.
did you wasted a lot of mass ? i mean, how can someone can build a T3 arty and defend with spam percies versus an opponent with 3 time his eco ?
not talking about balance, but hopefully i'm not playing sera for the late game.

2 ahwassas each one nearly 50k mass were not enough of a waste? lol im not even talking about percie being alot more cost-effective then crap sera t3 and t4 land.

Wow! What a game! I only wish I had the chops to play at that level. Also, it's almost a relief to see that even the pros can make a mistake once in a blue moon (e.g., mistakenly dropping your actual commander instead of a support comm in front of a gob of Percies).

Gyle, about your SACU question: as of the latest hotfix/update, support commanders can now be built with specific presets directly from the quantum gateway, so you can build them with one of 6 loadouts, e.g. engineer, rambo, etc.

I wish I could play FA but my laptop lags to much so I'm sticking to the Xbox 360 version. This was a cool match. Oh if any of you have the Xbox version of supreme commander and wanna play my gamer tag is UltraGodzilla1. Looking forward for ore excellent casts Gyle.

If I was in Petric's position, I would have thrown mass into two experimental bombers after baiting Blackheart's airforce with one.. and then came in from the north while it was exposed and bombed his Com into the stone age. There wasn't nearly enough T3 AA to take the bomber out before the bomb dropped. T3 Aircraft can cover their entry and bait most of the AA fire away from the bombers. Would have lost most (?) of the fighters, but both bombs would have landed, and basically wiped the entire base, Commander included. If that isn't enough, use the nuke launcher and that's GG right there.
i guess you could say petric has a MASSive advantage for most of the game.....
when the first nukes came in it seemed like Mutually assured destruction, "you launch nukes? so do i.." basically

By the way; CHICKENS SUCK. It must blow to see your Chicken wade into 10 or so Percies and get whacked - and then ya gotta watch as your "supporting" group of Othams also gets creamed by the dead Chicken's electro-magnetic field-spazz. I think I saw that happen 3 or 4 times that game. Chris Taylor shoulda spent a little more thought on that little "feature" of the Chicken.

Why not build a T4 bomber early on when he had air control instead of chicken? Largely unsupported chicken charging persies seems like a bad idea.

And this shows, if anything does, that Percys are just too cheap for what they do. They make all direct ground fire experimentals utterly worthless, you can spam them out by the truckload at half mass income of the opponent and still fight on level ground. Don't get me wrong, BH played really well, but it shouldn't be possible to withstand that kind of pressure with just one unit.
BiohazardArkanium All factions are not supposed to be equal. Other than the fatty, UEF have no useful experimentals. UEF are supposed to have land dominance. And percies aren't that powerful. They have their disadvantages, like how easily you can dodge their attacks with other t3 bots. Namely harbs. Experimentals don't have to be best at everything. Which is why there's no t4, and they're still considered t3 units. Concentrated dps and hp have several advantages.
Namely, let's examine two armies. One of many t3 units. The other concentrated dps and hp into one unit. The dps, hp, range are the same of both armies.
As the battle rages on, one army will have less and less dps, whilst the other's dps remains constant. The t3 bots will die off and the total dps will drop down really quickly. But the exp will have it's full dps all the way until it dies.
If all factions were equally strong on all three fronts (air, naval, land), the game would be extremely boring. All factions are compensated here or there, and are weaker elsewhere. This is the way it should be, this is a reason it's fun. Don't try to kill factional diversity.
Two words: sniper bots.

Serious Joe question... Why don't the pros ever build even a single Air Staging Facility? Are they really that useless in PvP?
Well ASFs have fuel that lasts basically forever, since they don't use up any fuel when parked on the ground and all other units (that is t1, t2, GS, scouts and bombers) don't last long enough/ are not supposed to last anyway, so there is no reason to waste time and resources on them in form of repair and refuel. Usually it's just easier to rebuild lost units than to repair the old ones.
There are ofc fringe cases like when you do hit and run tactics with T3 gunships and want to rapair the used ones while you build up critical mass.

Great game. Was completely over, there was no comeback. It was lost because the sustained attacks were dispersed. When fighting such a defensive player you need to concentrate forces. Not one T4 unit was used except by itself. Total wasted effort. Percy is not OP TheBfutgreg, you just can't play!
