    Fun fact! Datasmith actually loses the infantry keyword while attached to the Kastalans to prevent the anti infantry from hurting the robots!

    This channel has inspired me to start the hobby. Before there were “how to play videos” abound I would rewatch matches over and over again to attempt to learn the rules! Thanks again for being an awesome channel!

    It is clear that you guys put a lot of effort in everything for the channel, and that shows on our end. PoT is hands down my favorite #1 channel for the gaming aspect of Warhammer. The energy, camera angles, boards, voiceovers.. It is unmatched 👍

    Heyo, big fan of what you guys do, just a point I think would make streams a little smoother, I know responding to chats is important but sometimes you cut each other off mid sentence to respond to chat. I think that might detract from the rhythm of things a little, maybe have them saved and then respond to batches of them in one go?

      Thanks for the suggestion! Something we can get better at for sure. In terms of batching them, will speak to the rest of the team and see how something like that might be best implemented.

    What I've done since the army update is write out both Doctrinas and bullet point what they do.
    Conquerer +1 WS, Assualt, +1AP, then Protector +1BS ect.
    I'll keep that sheet readily available for myself and my opponent so they know what's what. On top of that, I'll keep a Dice with the round on, and I'll have the dice sit on which doctrina I picked for that battle round. That way even if both of us forget it doesn't feel like I'm bullshitting which one I picked.
    Feel like for Tak right now the codex is a total waste of time as barely any of it applies! Might as well create your own cheat sheet.
    It gets harder when you realise the Stealth detatchment applies to only skitarii, gives a different rule for Sicarians, Cawl can make himself battleline which makes him synergise with Breachers . . It's a whirlwind

    Still learning all the rules! Can i ask why 2 dragoons cant be battleshocked? As im plannong to ruj 2x2 and feel thatll be useful in the future :)

      They can be battle shocked by other means but as the standard battle shock tests when a unit is below half any unit of two models doesn't test here as when one of the two is destroyed it's at half, and can't drop below half

      @@timwilhelmi9358 they do! + chant of the remorseless fist. i rarely see the fulgurite + dominus combo, and im still wondering why it isnt played. +1 to wound, along with 5 ( 4+ through strategem ) and the 4+ feel no pain they feel so indestructible.

    So breachers and destroyers are so expensive per wound and gain nothing from the detachment, that you dont want to bring them as a damage dealer. Leaning harder into vehicles and then adding screeners and utility is the way to make cyco succeed. Robots should always have at least one fist. You can get by with 3x2 fistflamer bots with datasmiths. Then add antitank, either crabs, shootychickens, or ferrumite disintegrators. Infiltrators, skystalkers, and raiders to block stuff moving up the board and do actions. This list will probably do way better in rad zone. As this game shows you need at least SOMETHING to either scout or infiltrate to block movement early.

      It's kind of danger to do so, since that means the robot will return to T9...🤦🏻‍♂️
      Maybe possible for the shooting Kastelan?but definitely not the punching one🤔

      In this match up I think it was the difference between being wounded on 5s and 6s because of being hit by Strength 5. But, to be honest I know I can sharpen my sword playing the Admech and paying more attention to moving the protocols on the Kastellan Robots.

    ive tested my rolls on many multitudes in both sigmar and 40k, ive learned i get about 20% of my rolls, so out of 20 dice i get 2 6's, this has made this game very tough for me for even the better armies. i dont get why Kastelans dont get more attacks for having a 2nd melee fist. my outcome in 40k is due to the heavy amount of invulnerables and damage mitigation, the really fun vehicles just get blasted up real fast, and i just dont get why any game would want to make reduce the accuracy of a shooting army, maybe make mechanicus more melee focused, we have too many different ways to play the same army, the detachments are a head scratching mess of having to split the army you already bought the correct units to use, and having to bash units together that seem to perform less each edition. its a money grab in 40k, the units i did not buy became the better units. Kataphrons are very underwhelming, they need to go back to having 4 wounds a piece, they used to be decent escorts. the changes are nice but for a game that heavily relies on dice rolls mainly speaking in 40k- why make units hit harder to hit and give units more abilities to block, nothing ends up happening unless they have truly OP dice rolls
