Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania reveals that Kang the Conquerer murdered trillions of people in his war path through the Multiverse, but it was one 15-second scene that shows the worst of what he did. Erik Voss breaks down exactly what Janet saw in Kang's violent history, from murdering his neighbors, including women and children, to skewering entire planets in front of each other.

This was terrifying and definitely shown how powerful Kang is, I just wish they had shown as well he defeating an Avengers line up variants.
I hope we get flashbacks like that in his next movie appearance
Im sure that will be in the Kang movie.
I wish there was a scene where we see the avengers trying to stop kang but all die
This scene was jaw-dropping and gave me chills in the theatre. All of the scenes with Janet and Kang are perfection!
Hopefully we see more of what went down in a future movie.
Keep wishing. MCU is garbage right now... Let's see
Fun fact!!! In the comics Kang has a massive sword ship called the Damocles that can shoot lasers that can produce nuke like explosions. So Mcu Kang is probably re-positioning planets so his ship can take them out Death Star style lol.
Tbh I gotta admit that this was definitively the best part of the movie for kang imo
True.
Nah, him telling Scott he'll murder Cassie right in front of him then trap him in a time loop and make him relive it over and over again until he begs him to kill him is insane.
@@Byronic19134 THIS!
@@Byronic19134 He is pure evil!! That shit is crazy I was Laughing in the movies cause that’s the typa energy I want to see from kang. I can’t wait till we see him again!
Tbh I gotta admit ngl imo.. hell
Kang is such a perfect character. He’s the hero and villain of this whole phase in Marvel.
I haven’t even seen the movie yet, but the green clothing that you are saying the people are wearing that kang is killing. For some reason that’s reminding me of the people on the silver surfers planet in the old cartoon.
Would be a cool way to connect the Silver surfer with kang
I have just 1 question! If the Quantum Realm is unique and just one between the infinite Universes, how is it possible that only 1 Janet is stuck there? They are telling us that only 616 Janet had this path? By how they explained the Multiverse there should be a lot of Janets stuck in the Quantum Realm!
Great point
It’s very possible the 616 universe is broken and things happen that wasn’t “supposed” to which is why it’s the cause of the multiverse breaking
Oh damn that’s a good point!
How janet trapped in the quantum real at the first place?
I think instead of killing them when he blasts them, hes deleting them from the timeline, similar to how it was done in Loki
But they would go elsewhere then, right? TRILLIONS of them going elsewhere. Animals as well right? They were not pruned, they be dead fam
@@Wodz30 90% of the pruned die to allioth as soon as they arrive
@@jackofalltradeshermes he hasn’t weaponized Allioth yet
@@jackofalltradeshermesin loki ,kang transport everything to allioth because matter can't just disappear so he sent the pruned realities to allioth to consume them
Thts a hella of a take but nah I think he murdered them
Kang just keeping control. Made their own universe like Rick and Morty.
Anyone else notice the ring Kang holds is fractured as well? Like the timeline He Who Remains was solid and smooth but when Loki killed him it fractured and webbed out jus like the single timeline Kang was holding... Also... Where are the celestials (namely erashim) during all this pruning Kang been doing like is Kang strong enough to knock off a celestial? And if he's not how is Kang able to go undetected throughout history/timelines and NO ONE even confronts him about it?
It would be so cool if the opening scene for the Kang Dynasty would be Kangs in a montage igniting war on planets, vaporizing planets, and breaking timelines.
That big blue hole in the planets looks like something is sucking them. This reminds me of the black hole weapon that Nero used in Star Trek to consume and annihilate Vulcan
Love you voss!! You’re always on point and give me something to watch
I think that entire montage was memories and moments from the Multiversal War that Kang started. What would’ve been a 🔥 ass connection is if they had a brief flashback of Aliath fighting him, sent by HWR 😮 who said he ended the Multiversal War
I believe this Kang becomes Alioth due to the enormous amounts of energy he's gonna absorb after being shrunk down with the core.
That’s because I think Kang we just saw is the actual HWR. Scars? Survey would be easy for Kang.
I thought Smart Hulk explained that this doesn't change Janet's past that she would one day wake up and remember. Right?
I'm surprised that Ravonna Renslayer was not brought up when Janet was talking about returning to Earth-616 and getting back lost time with "loved ones"
It could have been his memory of the first incursion to his home planet too… maybe the event that got this Kang into the multiverse war
I love that you broke this down
Awesome dive!
Brilliant as always❕❕
I like the explanation of why Janet never told anyone, because Kang didn't exist until He Who Remains died. So would that rule out Kang from Quantumania as potential He Who Remains contenders?
I love your videos
This better be a deep dive piece too 🙏🤞
What if those are all planets of the other kang variants…. When he “dies” in quantumania it frees the rest of the kang dynasty like he who must not be remained warned us of…
All kang variants have their own respective names corresponding to their timeline. But this movie introduced a true “kang” which I feel will be the main focus of the “kang dynasty”
There’s only ONE Nathaniel Richards variant known as “Kang the Conqueror”. All the rest have different names. All the rest were freed when He Who Remains was killed by Sylvie. This variant in Quantumania is obviously the one that’s got the rest of the variants so shaken. He’s also likely the one that started the Multiversal War killed off many timelines. I believe he’s the original Nathaniel Richards. He’s the only one with a time machine/multiversal engine(his time chair) and it’s his primary weapon. He also has extremely high tech weapons & armor. Same exact way in the comics.
nice narration
Does anyone think there will be a connection between Victor Timely and the Timely productions poster from Moon Knight in young Steven's bedroom 🤔?
Mmmm, true, got me thinking 😭😭I love us marvel fans fr
What if we see in movies like Fantastic 4, deadpool 2 and shangchi 2 facing main variants of kang who were shown in antman 3. It will be great buildup to kang dynasty
I clicked on this video sooooooooo fast 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Same
Always
What was the watcher doing all this while ? Fighting Ultron? 🤣
7:15 great explanation as to why janet wasn't worries sending scott to the quantum realm. honestly just thought of it as a plot hole
But he is destroying this civ in his armor, so I wouldnt connect his clothes with them. This scene is similar to Thor defending the 9 realms tho, might be the moment when he killed him
I love Jonathan as kang he carried the movie
Jonathan Majors was definitely a great choice. Though I wish he had done more and make more appearances.
7:13 that's what I always believed too, that explains a lot. Like, A LOT.
I want a whole movie about Janet in the Quantum Realm. How did you do this before the movie is released on streaming?!
This one was crazy.
Kang Gang!
FINALLY SOMEONE TALKS ABOUT IT
If Time doesn't affect the Quantum realm, why would the events of Loki or Endgame change Janet's past?
The Quantum realm wasn't linked to the Sacred Timeline
Janet now knows why he's doing what he's doing. She saw what happened to trigger him.
Folks forgetting what happened Loki season 1, it’s pretty obvious when Sylvie killed He Who Remains, timelines and his variants all reappeared. History was also changed do the main timeline being fractured.. So many dumb dumbs are thinking Kang is a weak ass Villain don’t know what’s coming. MCU might’ve lost a lot of fans cause of phase 4 and bland storylines but once that first Kang Dynasty trailer drops everyone who jumped off the ship is gonna come swimming back..
Voss, I get that silfie killing he who remains unleashed the council of manga and changed the timeline, I just still don’t understand HOW! And WHY does it change it?
Counterpoint: the entire Multiverse Saga is an unmitigated mess and Marvel isn’t even going to TRY to reconcile things or give a thorough onscreen explanation of what’s going on. More than they could chew, more than they could chew.
Lol ayy yo Why that look like a mugshot at 1:10???
I think that was the Kang, that destroyed the ancient civilization that gave the other Kang those face markings. I'm vibing with the vids.
When you mentioned endgame I instantly remembered one particular part… Tony telling cap what happens when you mess with time
I doubt marvel puts as much thought into these movies as you
Is it possible that combined Shang chi’s rings and ms marvels bangle or bangles are keys to either free trap or fight Kang/kangs in the multiversal war? Or free trap or fight a variant of Kang in another project involving the two characters
At 3:44 it looks like a silhouette of a person jumping across the timeline in the top right.
Something triggered him. As if he lost someone..
Fr he looked furious af.
Not everyone's a whiny baby who gets "triggered"
This would've been the perfect opportunity to showcase some Variant Avengers in that sequence.
Nah the 15 seconds that hit the most to me was the introduction of M.O.D.O.K 👌🏾🔥
0:20 ..... what guilt? that's the point, he doesn't feel guilty.....
The planets reminded me of Lamentis 1's fate. First hint of incursions?
What if that’s when he loses his “family” and he destroyed his home planet
His “home planet” is Earth. Kang is a human.
@@ceecooksey4885 yes but he’s been tracking and living in different time lines and his original home planet is what I’m talking about.
I Get the justice league vibes when cyborg see the nightmare of all the heroes die ing
Hey Erik Voss
March is a great month
damn eric you look good af in this hoodie 🫶🏻
Scariest 15 seconds, was wrapped up in the trailer
You are totally right about the past being changed for Janet…
Kang slowly turning into Galactus.. hehe
The movie is so freaking good
What if the kang Janet sees is some other kang.. 🤔and Exiled Kang attacked to stop 🤔
I hope Kang will be better than Thanos
The ending where you say janet wasnt aware until he who remains was killed is wrong. Changing the past doesnt change the future
Pause at 3:44. Is that an image of a person on top of the blast?
Kevin Fiege has come out confirming this Kang is not dead.
You’d think a genius-scientist-psychopath-strategic-killer would NOT have his most important piece of equipment telekinetic. I find that odd.
His scars is where he implanted his neuralink, that's why his the lines glow with his eyes when he strikes.
7/10
Kang’s killing spree wasn’t that good but y’all r nice
Guys this kang variant was destroying branched timelines.
Do you thinks that’s how battle world will be created?
Hi
Can’t even see anything for those 15 seconds and it wasn’t as scary. Thanks and his plan was scarier
I use Factor now! I’ve lost 5lbs!
His Nero kinetic tech or his Nero kinetic pick 😏
I need more kang when he went off was the best part of the movie
I saw the movie a few days ago, it wasn't as bad as people were saying. 7/10
I think Kang wasn’t banished in the way we think. he probably escaping a battle with some sort of hero team and his ship got damaged and crashed landed into the quantum. We seeing a battle damaged Kang.
Couldn’t king have just taken the people’s clothes?
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Kang just sitting there,, why so serius
As much as I personally love thinking multidimensional, the average MCU fan does not lol. When you bring time traveling across multiple films like this is going to confuse soooooo many people.
He killed but nobody cared about who died!
Kang is certainly known for doing a number on some unfortunate bros
Turnly quantum by going into a 15 second clip
But according to Endgame logic Janet's future can't change because they went into the past & messed things up? It should result in a branch?
I just didn't like that Kang didn't Beam finish everyone in movie
Ok, now try to convince me that Kang is NOT a monster.
Lol since Rick and Morty came out Ive told people Rick is Kang. Been looked at like a nerd for some time now.
Reaching
march is like that in america too? im in south africa
You really just called my Birth Month Gross 😐 thanks
I mean he really only had 16 seconds worth of killing in this movie if you think about it
Or that Kang in the vision was a variant the Kang saw destroy his people and this Kang took up arms to kill the other conquerors.
I’m a little confused Kang killed some many Avengers but was taken out by a bunch of ants. Also why didn’t he just open a portal or fly away I have so many questions.
Why's his memory in 3rd person
Is Miss Minutes a MODOK???
