Beautiful...my next project. One hint for getting your vinyl to stick well without any seeping...use a blow dryer on it for 30-60 seconds. Works great!

This is a great first video and nice results on the stemware. FYI The second coat of Mod Podge goes on easier and smoother because it has the glitter to cling to. The first coat over the glass will always streak with a brush because it slides on the shiny surface.

I agree the white glitter is gorgeous in a more sophisticated kind of way. The others are pretty also. My 7 yr old is in love with these. I think I am going to try my hand at making her a glitter glass. Thank you for the idea and showing me how.

I just watched your video and so happy I found it. I just agreed to give gift bags with etched glass to my nieces wedding party but wasn't sure what to do or how to start. I just started etching glass just to see if I could do it and it was pretty amazing. You just saved me and know what I wan't to do. I have until March 2021 to get it done! You saved me even with knowing not to get the glasses from the dollar store.

You could put a top coat of decoupage glue to seal in the sprinkles so they don’t rub off. It dries clear and acts a bit like a varnish without taking away from the texture of the sprinkles.

Thanks for the video!! I think you did a GREAT job even if it was your first one! (I never would have guessed that if you hadn't said it!) I found it because I am basically tasked with doing the exact same thing for my nephews wedding in July, and I haven't seen any that are etched and glittered either. Your glasses are GORGEOUS, your tutorial is very helpful, and now I really can't wait to get started. This will be my first with glitter and etching, so I'm nervous pf course, but I have lots of glasses to practice on. Keep up the great work!!

Thanks for the video. Your were instructive and real. Glad you left the "Dump" in there as your straightforward. You were not fake like other youtubers that annoy me with cutsy commentary. I am the same way in eye balling and doing things becuase that was what worked for me. I will subscribe. Your clear ring at the top totally make the glass classy. Could you please tell me how you place your marker when making the ring. I am a literal person so i need to know what position you hold the pen (angle, parallel to the table)?. Dumb question as I am new to this. Does the glaze or epoxy to keep dishwashing from removing the glitter? Thanks again for the great video.

Loveeeeee this!!! I'm so excited to start etching my wine glasses and personalizing them like that instead of using vinyl! Question...is the krylon clear glaze spray safe to use if you're gonna be drinking out of the wine glasses?? Also, does the spray completely seal the glitter so it doesn't fall off and does it leave it smooth? Or can you feel the texture of the glitter?? Also, when washing, how do you recommend washing it? Warm or cold water? Soap? Hand or dish wash?? Sorry for all the ?'s, I'm very new at this! And you seem to know what you're doing lol thanks in advance!! And Ps. Lmao at the healthy dump 🤣 👍🏻
