    i see so many people use mod podge and i know you said you can use either, but what are the pros and cons to using mod podge vs polycrylic?

    If you wanted to do several light coats of epoxy for a smoother finish, does each layer need to cure 24 hrs before applying the next? Or how long should you wait between layers?

      Jennifer Reimers I would definitely wait an absolute minimum of 18 hours between coats, but 24 would be best. just to make sure each coat is fully cured.

    Hey there! Thanks for the great video. I have a quick question, how do you measure out an eighth of an ounce? Do you weigh it? I know it's probably a dumb question but after all the work of getting the glitter on there, I don't want to mess up with the epoxy. Thanks so much!

    You’re amazing at this! Love your video. I hope you can help me! I made several a few I used polycrylic and a few using mod podge and after I put the second coat on it’s not as shiny and it doesn’t look like it did before I put the final coat on. Am I missing a step? Thank you!

    Wonderful video and I totally agree that you should do a decal video at some point. I'm hoping to get a silhouette(either cameo or Curio, but still trying to decide which is better). Do you have a link to the specific epoxy you are using? I want to make sure I am looking at the correct one.

      Stella White, I would put the vinyl on the glass last since you will be handling the glass so much. I can't wait to try it her way. It is so neat and clean looking. Good Luck!

      It doesn’t. Seemed super easy & looked better than using mod podge but it doesn’t last at all

    If my tape didn't do a great job and polyacrylic got through, is it ok to wipe it while it's still wet?

      Katie Eubank I do all the time. I use a baby wipes or a paper towel with alcohol and it works great

      Christy Simard I honestly have no idea. I buy these larger containers like the ones shown here and they do so many glasses... I wouldn't even be able to guess.

    Hi I enjoyed your video u did everything you did I have a question please and thank you. I used the epoxy to seal it at the very end is it supposed to be rough? I only put one thin coat on should I do another coat because I really want the glass like finish like the tumblers you do. Thank you

      Danielle Combs I will have more videos soon that show the decals I use. I cut my own decals on Oracle 651 vinyl. I use a silhouette cameo 2. The vinyl is washable but not dishwasher safe :)

      Lindsey Holler I have been trying the plastic wine glasses... I'm going to say yes, it does work... but I'm not sure of the durability. I've tried several wine glasses now and they are all "flexing" just enough that I'm pretty sure the glitter and epoxy would crack and fall off. I'm still hunting for good plastic glasses!

    I used glossy mod podge bc I didn't have any poly on hand. Can I epoxy over the mod podge? And I added a vinyl decal. Do you epoxy over the decal as well? Thanks for doing these videos!

      Nicole Marable Tanyag I leave it upside down to dry. I just apply the poly in a very thin coat each time and the glitter helps keep it in place.

    I am not sure if you have answered this question already (sorry of you have). Does the vinyl decal not come off if the glass is washed?

      LASH3SKA I recommend no dishwasher, as the vinyl could come off. When hand washing, I tell people no soaking (outside) and don't scrub the outside hard. I have had good luck with my vinyl not coming up

    Thank you for your videos! I have a question. I used the dishwasher safe mod podge and just finished my second coat of glitter. After it dries do I put a third coat of the mod podge for a sealer or will it be white? Or do I just go to the epoxy step? I appreciate your help :-)

      Misty Weems I would say 3 coats would be sufficient OR do the final seal in epoxy, but you shouldn't need both. I can't answer much about mod podge because I really never use it

    When you completed the glass with polycrylic, did it still have that rough glittered feel to it? I did mine with dishwasher safe mod podge and after the second coating of glitter, I put pod podge to seal it, but it still has that rough glitter feel to it. I don't like that.

      Courtney D I just recently used polyacrylic and it didn’t work well for me. I let it dry over night. Went to put second coat on it and it started to take glitter off. People use mod podge and seal it.

    I've done this but only sealed with mod podge and if condensation sat on the outside of the glass too long the mod podge turned cloudy will the epoxy keep the glass from turning cloudy if condensation sits on the outside?

    Use printer paper instead of the foil. Much easier to reuse glitter and not waste it,

    Will triple coat work just as good as epoxy?

      tsureable no they are different things. The triple thick will not be food safe and isn't as durable.

    Quick question, if i only mod podge how long will it stay dish washer safe? i have tried triple coating and i'm not sure of the epoxy would work on metal (im glittering metal cups)

      Taygan Sepulveda if you use permanent vinyl and let it cure for 2 days before it’s washed then it shouldn’t

    Hi..how long u let dry in between coats if u want a smooth finish....or u have to leave for 24 hrs each coat.

      Omalara Nicholas I would let dry at least an hour, but it will depend on how thick the poly is applied
