- This edition was shown on Friday 24 March 1995 and was the second quarter final of Series 29.
This is my own recording from a well worn tape and is identical to the upload by countdowngoofs. When I deleted my very first CZcams account in 2009 I was pleased they saved it and uploaded it. I did a better transfer of it about two years ago and it is, now, in much better quality as the 2009 ripping I did was pretty poor. I have also included the adverts too.
Richard Whiteley and Carol Vorderman host the show in which contestants race against the clock to pit their wits against vowels, consonants and numbers. With dictionary corner guest David Jacobs and lexicographer Richard Samson.

Richard was right about the tense atmosphere. Seemed to be mainly down to misery guts Andy!
