No Audio Device Problem - Windows XP - Can anybody help me? [HD]

I have recently installed Windows XP Service Pack 3 on my Compaq Presario F755LA Notebook, that comes with Windows Vista Basic integrated. I tried installing different types of drivers such as Realtek HD Audio Codec or Conexant HD Audio driver (Conexant is my notebook sound brand) but nothing works. If anybody knows how to help me please comment or pm me, if that helps me I will subscribe to its account 4 times with my accounts.

HD audio doesn't work on XP. Only AC97 unfortunately

i was cleaning up my programs with adding and deleting, i didnt mean to but I deleted my audio device: SoundMAX. Now i dont know how to get it back or what to do, Realtek doesnt work and downloading a new SoundMAX it says my pc doesnt use this kind of programs. ??? pls help

im having the same issue in laptop i tried many things but it seems no effect at all.

@Tyranno123456789 before did u have real tek high definition audio cause if you did go to control panel performance and maintenance then go to system hardware device manager sound video and game controllers
click on your high definition audio bus then try updateing it and if not go to update driver and select advanced settings then dont search i will choose and go down to realtek or watever you driver was select it and click next and if that dosent fix it then i dont know whats wrong for you

@buyatch :O To have a connection try downloading the internet connection driver for your pc, from another computer and transfer it with a pendrive to the pc with problems.

i use soundMAX too..you need to Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) Bus Driver for High Definition Audio (sp32646) after installing your sound card driver..it will help..
