Thanks again and I hope all goes
The number one reason for all dark circles is insulin resistance. It took me literally 2 months for them to go away. There was no other factor which caused them. I needed to stop eating sugar and of course carbs + dairy and after 2 months not only my skin cleared, I felt much better and of course insulin resistance was gone + dark circles :)
Thank you for sharing, this made me really hopeful☺️
Basically everything that I am bingeing right now.
I have insulin resistance. I also have diabetes ( different animal ). I have never had dark circles under my eyes…..ever. I wonder why ?
@@carolcole570 I dont know Carol. In my case this is what I was dealing with. And the reason was insulin resistance in my case.
Iron deficiency and allergies cause it too
I'm glad to hear the stress explanation -- years ago, I had those dark circles under my eyes. I was under a lot of stress (it was the last few years before my marriage of 28 years ended). After I got out of that situation, within a year or so, I realized the dark circles were gone. I never made the connection to stress until watching this video.
sugar +insulin can increase your stress. I quit sugar +carb. I calm a whole day.
it's from weak kidneys stop drinking so much liquids and especially don't drink them iced
Your ability to put out videos EXACTLY when I need them is truly uncanny!
Ikr me too 😇

No way!! I was literally looking for dark circles remedy yesterday.
Do you still have dark circles?
Do we have a nobel prize for promoting health tips on CZcams? If not we should make one for Dr. Berg 😊
Good point !! but people receive “nobel prize” for things like “weaponizing” “prions” by drilling into the skulls of chimpanzees and packing the holes with prion puree (2 nobel prizes were given out for prion weaponizing) after the second “award” outbreaks of: cwd (prions) , aids(prions) , cjd(prions) . Prions have a long onset , but almost always fatal , with the greatest danger in the intestines , high temperature resistant. Transmissible by : blood ,sperm , urine , feces , saliva

I’ve had dark circles ever since I was born (I’m 26 now). No matter what I do or what I try they’ve never ever gone away. I think it’s just part of my complexion unfortunately.
It could be Genetics in your case.

You tried taking B12? Also folate and copper? you can have perfectly normal iron and oxygen saturation and still be anemic 😬 found out today. Common symptoms are short breath, elevated heart rate, burning/itching sensations, twitching, dizziness, brain fog, blurred vision, weakness, chronic fatigue.. just too name a few!
@@Bait1official Yea, I take the Roman multivitamin and it covers all those and much more. Thanks for the input
Cut out sugar. It is the only thing that might help. Or, if a good skin cream manufacturer would make an under eye Vita K cream, that seems to over ride the sugar. But that is not available currently...
Wow, this makes so much sense. I have been trying everything, with little results. I went thru a severe stress situation for almost 2 years, and altho gone ,never recovered physically except weight loss. I can't wait to find out more. Thank you so much.
Finally, a video that explains ALL of my symptoms, including the dark circles and possibly the development and flair-ups of Angeoadema. Massive amounts of stress from work and life situations have been present just about 24/7 for the past 6 years, which is about the time I've had these dark circles that sometimes look like I got punched in the face.
Excellent information.
Infinite respect and gratitude to you and your health family.
Peace love and blessings!
I was born with "raccoon eyes". been made fun of all my life. My dad had them, too. Doesn't matter how much sleep I do or don't get. The tear troughs are so deep it's like ravines under my eyes. Many people have told me to consider plastic surgery for them. :(
i feel you
Dude, I have the same issue. I haven't found anything online that says there is a method for plastic surgery that removes the "raccoon eyes." There are fillers and other items that might work....Let me know if you have heard of a promising procedure. It feels really bad to look extremely tired all the damn time.
Raccoon eyes are beautiful, don't be ashamed or feel bad about them. Humans come in all varieties.
@@AwakeAgainAtLast no they are not beautiful lol, lying to our selves doesn't fix the problem ... raccoon eyes may not have a simple solution but that shouldn't stop us from trying our best to solve it.

This video came right on time I just started to get black circles around my eyes.
Thank you for this I’ve been struggling with dark circles since starting hybrid working - I’d imagine the combination of less aerobic exercise and more stress is the reason behind my dark circles. I’ll give this a try :)
definitely this will work if done regularly.
I love the full spectrum of your education. As an RN, I appreciate your white board and the biological links and wholistic views. Humans are amazing and you haven’t lost sight of that.
Thank you Dr.Berg your videos are amazing! This week my whole family started eating eggs and taking vitamin D and eating fats and meat more and cutting out sugar and processed foods. We all thought our dark circles were genetic but they've just been disappearing and this video has helped so much!

Thanks for the information, but what about dark circles caused by the THINNING OF THE SKIN due to AGING ?
Yes! I would love to know, too!
I have the thin skin under my eyes, too. Had them all my life. All the women in my family have them too. Can anything be done to correct it?
@@melissaquick3785 debydration, lack of sleep, weak capillaries, losing weight abruptly, belonging to specific ethnic groups/heredity - more reasons than the one stated here
Let’s be real: thinning skin due to age cannot be thickened. Other than risky filler under eye, nothing will help. Concealer makes it look worse especially on pale skin. I doubt these type of circles will get addressed due to no real solution
@HeleneNutrientsRich Thanks.
What a fascinating root cause explanation (clear & excellent as ever) for something that could be just brushed aside as a very minor complaint due to lack of sleep…or a hangover!

Thank you very much for all of your knowledge and effort and making the world a more healthy and concious place by sharing your knowledge. I would be very happy if you could answer this, either based on your knowledge or using your logic. Could supplementing DHEA cause dark circles around the eyes?
it's oxygen deprivation from mouth breathing during sleep, we are suppose to be primarily breathing through our nose when we are awake and especially while we are asleep, but a proportion of the population are mouth breathers. The only solution recommended is mouth taping with medical grade micropore tape which lets air pass through and practicing to keep your mouth shut during the day and breathing through your nose until it becomes habit.
Thank you, Dr. Berg!
