Hi, 40 years in the game my friend, I enjoy your videos and it goes to show your never too old to learn or pickup tips, stuff the haters, keep up the good work 👍we do everything just the same in English, cheers Ed the welder
I don’t weld pipe, but I do learn a lot from you every time I tune in, keep going bro, I take the knowledge and bust it out on anything I weld at work when we do 👌🏾
Thanks bud! Thanks for showing real world issues and situations that happen everyday out in the field and how to fix it... It helps us new guys that are learning see that all welds don't come out perfect like I see in other popular you tube channels with controlled environments . Its cool to see pretty welds those dudes put out but that really don't help if the actual issues that arise aren't addressed ,taught and shown how to correct.. and that is one of the reasons I watch your videos.. Thanks again!
Dead on man, fit is everything. You can teach anyone to weld but not just anyone can fit. Your videos are great by the way, they show the pace you work at instead of being a dedicated tutorial. Important to know the pace needed to be at the top of your game.
If people saw exactly what welders are accomplishing in order to execute task to complete each job they would have a higher appreciation for their craft. They need to check out your channel and get educated brother. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome. I’ve only been on one pipe job so far and have yet to still build my confidence up because I haven’t had much practice on pipe. Mainly a lot of structural jobs but I want to do pipe. Can you do a tutorial on 6G root and cap? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks for the great content! Rookie question im building my first wheel, where do you hook your ground? Seems like you would want it hooked to the pipe so it dosent run through the bearing? Maybe I'm just over thinking it. Thanks for the help.
I love your vids man definitely got a new subscriber I'm fresh out of my lw school and in my first welding job. I do have a question feathering all those starts and stops is that fully necessary or just preference? I do the same mostly when I run stick but the guys at my work poke fun asking if I'm a weldor or a grinder. I say I'm both whatever it takes to come out on top.
Old vid , just watching now but I love the brass knuckles and spades ♠️ on your rollout wheel. Stylish bro 😎 The stuff you teach rolls into a lot of other welding and I appreciate it. Always like your vids with more voiceovers or live talking compared to the music only content.
@@TheWeldProfessor That’s sweet. Great design work. Pretty stylish for a pipeliner ...😇 (kidding bro) How are they cut? Plasma? Water jet? Thanks and God Bless!
@@TheWeldProfessor #talent #madskills I’m a designer/photog (prob why I picked up on the designs on the rollout) who lost everything- COVID shut down my biz. I’m building from the ground up welding/fab/blacksmithing. Old enough that we had a full welding and machine shop in high school, just went a different route. I have scraped together a stick/tig/plasma setup, anvils, and welding up a (hopefully) dope forge. No time to waste. Spent yesterday working on an old blacksmiths post Vice - some knucklehead former owner welded the (broken) spring saddle and mounting bracket to the leg of the vice. Welded the crap out of it. And welded his initials on the jaws of a 120 year old chunk of history... 😣 Finally got it apart. Weiler pipeliner disk kicked some ass on cleanup after the surgery. Just have to fab a new spring today. I’ve been doing this one piece at a time - staying focused and living on PB sammiches to $$ gear up. I like that you live and breathe the work, I’m trying to do the same. God Bless, love seeing the talent.
Can u do a 6011 rod turorial , I always hear that 6011 and 6010 are the same ,but I think 6010 is deeeeeper penetration . What u think professor , give me your opinion on those two cousin's rods.
Stupid question im in school starting to work more pipe when your running 7018 on like a 3/8 wall would you weave or try to run stringers iv heard a lot of companies want you to run stringers but i can never get it it fill enough and it looks god awful
Yes let the haters hate. They will learn something otherwise they would not be on here watching your videos.😀 Seriously though I need that tutorial on the roll out wheel. If you see what I use to roll out my welds you would laugh your butt off.😂
Hi I got a question I’m 19 years old and I really love welding and want to get into the pipe welding industry any advice would be much appreciated love your vids and been following your instagram for 2 years now really enjoy your content man keep it up
I've seen just about every welding vid on CZcams ha and I've stumbled on your videos and I've been putting your techniques into my own welds. Definitely got a SUB from me bud. Do you have any DIY rollout wheel videos? Just orderd a 8" chuck yesterday
Bad ass bro that's all I I did for years was 2 in . Love your videos thanks buddy for for the knowledge sometime you forget when you don't do it in a long time you refresh our minds
You dont get your helper to chip the start for you interesting. Have you tried having him knock the start off so you can cap without stopping. All the welders I have helped have had me do that for em. Takes a bit of practice to not bash too hard but once you get the hang of it they dont even notice when you chip the start while they burn rod. Cheers great vid as always.
Where can I get them grinder guards professor ? I think u told us where u got them from some videos ago, but I cant seem to remember which video it was. If u got them for sale lemme know .... and as always good work bro excellent cap with that low-hi rod . Sorry bout the haters....they lost in the welding sauce.....
Awe nothing but love. Dewalt make them. They started making them for the brushless grinders but the guard fits on them smaller body ones. I highly suggest the 7" brushless dewalt grinders it will be my next investment

Youre a giant in the game.......Always positive and inspiring folks do do their best. The welding world needs more people like you.
Gotta separate the men from the boys ya know. Thank you
Wally is a true mechanical artist. Its an honor to listen, watch, and learn. Thank you kindly.
wOw, You have mastered that! That deal is incredible and done all day unknown to average welders, but thank you for doing what you do!
😂 "even my haters are on here watching"
I believe it!

I haven't picked up an electrode for my powerarc welder in years but I do remember how much I like welding with 7018 rods

Cool video bud 🤘🤘🤘
what it would be if you go downhill with 7018 but on fixed pipe, no rotations?
Thanks for your videos

Appreciate that thank you
Like the brass knuckles on the turn vice. Nice touch

What lens are you using that’s not tripping the auto dark?
I should be more specific...while you’re grinding
U the best of what u do..
Hey Prof wouldn’t it be cheaper and faster to use a plasma torch for cutting?
was wondering if you've used that lens with mig yet. the arc one lens always seems to react to the mig arc to slow imo.
would like to see more of your roll-out wheel, how you built it
Nice little roller clamp, but just how would you go about welding that pipe on that flange if it was totally stationary?
Not a welder, I dig the white jacket, never heard of a rollout wheel urs is sweet, like them knuckles. You have my subscription.
Por que se utilizan eze tipo de caretas en lo que es tuveria ?
That’s a badass rollout wheel!!!
Gave it to my last helper when he broke out
hey wally what lens is that , do you recommend it and can i get it on amazon if so?
A good job man!
Hey weld professor what type of stinger are you using and what type of welding lead?
They way it’s all centeres is satisfying
My man, I need the plans for that rollout wheel bro!
Great wisdom my man! What's your opinion on the new Lincoln 2x4 lens? Compared to the ArcOne? Colors and light shade!?
I am absolutely loving it
Did u modify that guard??
Good tips thanks
