Thanks bud! Thanks for showing real world issues and situations that happen everyday out in the field and how to fix it... It helps us new guys that are learning see that all welds don't come out perfect like I see in other popular you tube channels with controlled environments . Its cool to see pretty welds those dudes put out but that really don't help if the actual issues that arise aren't addressed ,taught and shown how to correct.. and that is one of the reasons I watch your videos.. Thanks again!

I do the same mostly when I run stick but the guys at my work poke fun asking if I'm a weldor or a grinder. I say I'm both whatever it takes to come out on top.

I’m a designer/photog (prob why I picked up on the designs on the rollout) who lost everything- COVID shut down my biz. I’m building from the ground up welding/fab/blacksmithing. Old enough that we had a full welding and machine shop in high school, just went a different route. I have scraped together a stick/tig/plasma setup, anvils, and welding up a (hopefully) dope forge. No time to waste. Spent yesterday working on an old blacksmiths post Vice - some knucklehead former owner welded the (broken) spring saddle and mounting bracket to the leg of the vice. Welded the crap out of it. And welded his initials on the jaws of a 120 year old chunk of history... 😣 Finally got it apart. Weiler pipeliner disk kicked some ass on cleanup after the surgery. Just have to fab a new spring today. I’ve been doing this one piece at a time - staying focused and living on PB sammiches to $$ gear up. I like that you live and breathe the work, I’m trying to do the same. God Bless, love seeing the talent.

Takes a bit of practice to not bash too hard but once you get the hang of it they dont even notice when you chip the start while they burn rod. Cheers great vid as always.
