I wasn't freaking out in the streets but then again I'm living out of state temporarily. But you gotta understand that it's different for the Suns, Toronto, Milwaukee and even Cleveland. We're not New York, Miami, California etc so yeah when we make it this far it's important to us. This is why even though I'm a Phoenix Suns fan that doesn't mean I wasn't happy for the Hawks throughout the playoffs. Sometimes your city's team winning can really help.

I think those "what ifs" are kinda stupid. Because for that game you can say that for many things. What if Giannis didn't miss 6 free throws, what if Holiday wasn't 5/23, what if Middleton wasn't 9/26. Fans need to understand that Middleton and Holiday were having at the same time one of their worst playoff games, playing worse than role players coming off the bench and the Bucks still won. So the whole KD "what if" doesn't matter. People will keep saying that Bucks wouldn't have won if Harden and Kyrie were healthy and it might be true, but it's not like the Bucks had more star power. It was basically 1 star vs another one and it just happened that Bucks were better overall that day.

It was prior to Dirk's MVP season though. It was in 2005-06, and when Dirk won it in 2006-07, he and the Mavericks fell to the Warriors in the first round as the 1st seed in the west.

June of 2006 and April of 2007 didn't happen. The calendar did this weird thing, where it just skipped right over those months. I get it, it's a weird thing. Very easy mistake to make, thinking that any events actually took place during those dates.

One thing that keeps coming up by many is the toe on the line game 7 vs. Nets. I get it was essentially last play of regulation, and magnified as such. Now that we're in the 2021/22 conference finals, I've heard the line "There's always next season" followed up by the "What? I'm not making the Suns fans feel any better?" just hits different tbh. Seeing what the Mavs did to them is kinda sad honestly because, if they had won that Game 7, I think they definitely could've taken that step up to yet another NBA finals appearance. But I guess it is what it is and now Golden State are up 3-0 against the Mavs, looking for one of the first ever sweeps in a conference final series (I'll go absolutely nuts if this does happen). I'm thinking it'll be a Heat v Warriors finals series and I think that's going to be a great one, seeing the death lineup come against the extremely dominant Miami Heat side with an also amazing squad. I'm curious to see how the rest of the Finals pans out but what Chris Paul and the Suns have gone through is really saddening for anybody watching honestly. Hope the Suns can pick up a title in the next couple of years, especially CP3. He especially needs one...
