    Great video. It's has been years since I last worked on an e28. I was at a BMW dealer for 24 years. 6 years on the bench, 1 years test driving, and 17 years as the workshop manager. My favorite BMWs has always been the e30 e28 and the e34. I have just recently found your channel LOVE it. I love your attention to detail. The 333i rep is A1.     There is nothing wrong with the springs. All H&R , Eibach etc sport springs are loose in the perches. Also unless you have up and down play in the ball joints, they are fine. The ball joints loosen up normally. I’ve professionally worked on these cars for almost 40 years and sold parts as well fwiw

      I disagree with you sir with regards to the springs being loose in the pouch or under load. I understand that the ball joints loosen up normally, but not like this .

    So if one wants to fix their steering box from leaking you need to take the Sub frame out?
