Summary: The Initiates of the Flame is a little essay on the mystery of fire. To all ancient peoples fire was a symbol of the divine One dwelling in the innermost parts of all things. Robert Fludd, a Rosicrucian mystic, writing in the seventeenth century, declared that the fire of the philosophers was divided into three parts: first, a visible fire which is the source of physical light and heat; second, an invisible, or astral fire, which enlightens and warms the soul; third, a spiritual, or divine fire which in the universe is known as God and in man as spirit.
The Initiates who took their oaths in the presence of the Flame renounced the lesser concerns of ordinary life and, freed from the attachments of this material sphere, these purified souls became custodians of that symbolic Flame of wisdom which is the true Light of the world. This Light is a manifestation of the one Universal Life, that active agent whose impulses are the cause of all sidereal phenomena. Where in antiquity this flame of light, this spirit-fire, was the object of a universal adoration and was worshipped as the very presence of God Himself, it now lies buried beneath the ruins of man's fallen temple. Obscured by the paramount interests of the flesh, it emits but the faintest gleam in this non-philosophic age.

I'm young but eager to learn. I like reading and studying these old peices of important literature. When I'm at work I listen to this channel all the time. Always trying to build myself up.
Age ole wisdom, absolutely true. Don't try, just start applying what appeals to you, let your Heart be your guide. Incredible all human beings have access to the eternal truths yet corruption rules. You do realize this is Lucifer's doctrine? This is anti Yahuwah, satanic.
The doctrine is essentially saying man can elevate himself into immortality without salvation. The "ascended masters" are the original 200, led by Simyasa, had intercourse with human women. Today, they feed off the "light" of men who pursue this doctrine.

I certainly greatly appreciate these works and find them useful in contemplating my life, habits and ethics. I don't mean to use anyone in a negative way, but I certainly know that we, collectively, as humanity, stand on the shoulders of the giant who came before us. And I am grateful.
In my late teens I started to realize that all is connected. I feel like I’m being drawn to something I can’t quite understand. I get glimpses of insight through experiences but I’m not quite sure how to study and become a more enlightened human. I wish peace and blessings to all who ready this.

We are fortunate as a species that Manly P. Hall not only walked the Earth, but spent his life in study and was willing to share his vast knowledge with those of us less enlightened. I can honestly say that Hall has changed my life, and I recall from one of his lectures on Hermes Trismegistus that he mentioned Hermes having many embodiments throughout the ages. Hall was surely one of them. This is one of those reads that I'll need to go through many times to digest, but thank you so much, Master Key Society for making that possible!

Crazy because I have been contemplating a similar philosophy based off my own observation. One of the three aspects of life is the flame, which burns inside everyone. We feed and tend to the flame. We carry it with us to keep us warm and light the darkness, to keep away what tries to drag us into the darkness. When your flame runs out or is left behind you are lost to the darkness and what lives there.

This reminds me of a dream I had. In the dream I was a child walking through a blizzard, sleet was hitting my face and I was walking on a frozen lake. I was doing my best to keep my little lamp I had lit away from the sleet and cold. I was focused on the little flame when a voice spoke it me. The voice told me to pray to my gods. I responded back to the voice saying I only had one God. Perspective then shifted to below the frozen lake where I could see a stone head; much like the ones on Easter island 🗿. Then the word djin was spoken...interesting dream 😳 😀

Thank you for being a Good Shepard to me for 12 years at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels.
I learned studied faithfully learned about the mysteries of the Roman Catholic Church while you and Father Kevin Kostelnick and Father Brian Castaneda, and Father Trudea were Administration the Los Angeles Archdiocese.
Today I am watching the Stations of the Cross and the Easter Vigil from Rome on worldwide internet in my living room.
I sincerely thank you and all of the faithful lay persons, sisters and brothers who helped me and gave me emotional and spiritual support, and strengthened me with your prayers and the sacraments for eleven happy and blessed years.
I am celebrating another blessed Easter and remembering 🙏 all of you in my prayers.

As a Hassidic Jew I'd like to correct an understandable mistake the author made.
The almond flowers on Aharon's rod do not equate in their symbolism to the lotus as is proclaimed here.
He was looking for an equivalent metaphor to make his case and so he drew one up, and very convincingly.
However the true meaning can only be fully understood in its context.
Here in its native fauna, the Almond is the first flower to bloom.
To understand the meaning behind it you must draw it from Aharon. The first priest (Cohen).
In the Talmud we learn that the priests are quick (chosen word זריזים has a slight reference to a nimble kind of quick)
We learn that the priests are very quick to do what they have to do.
You need to bloom? Bloom. Now.

Whenever you feel that feeling within you, do not ignore it or surpress it...but do something with the energy...could be writing, painting, exercise, some kind of work...something creative..something besides a sexual act. You either become an Animal or a God depending on how you use this energy.
