I was fortunate enough to see the Dubliners in concert twice, back in the early '80s when Luke was still with them. Unforgettable shows, and wonderful music. Thank you lads..

I'm sad that The Dubliners won't be no longer exist. They've made a very great music! All of them! They brought the wonderful irish music to the world, not only to Germany.
Bobby, Luke, Ciarán, Ronnie and Barney have already left us. But they'll be never forget by me!
Many thanks for your great music and a lot of fine hours hearing it, my friends!
    Greetings from northern Germany
    Hans

How could anyone dislike this last medley of the greatest songs of the late Dubliners?
I cried tears after this performance cause it was very great act of these lads
Sadly i' ve never seen them live but i'll keep their music in my mind.
God bless Ireland and its beautifull music.
See everyone of you in Fiddler's Green
    Greets from Germany

even if they continued playing on it wouldn't be the same dubliners because the original members have all sadly departed now,but have left us with a great selection of songs and medleys and great tunes.i have seen them live and it is a beauty and a joy to behold.the memories live on and the tunes live on in our hearts

It makes sense for The Dubliners' name to retire. I mean, the last founding member had died, and while John is definitely the longest serving member in the band, he's no right to keep it up now that Barney's died. Although it may seem harsh I said this, but it's just how it is. I do hope everything goes well for them, and that John lives happily for the rest of his life, and I'm sure that the lads are waiting for their fiddler up in Fiddler's Green.

I am feeling like patsy is not really fittingn into this formation. I always prefered seans voice over his. Which does not mean that Patsy is a bad musician

Wonderful band, but maybe it is very tiring for the boys now and they just prefer to play for relaxation every now and then, great band and will miss them !

Frankly I could easily forget them! Sorry and all lads but you could not match Luke Kelly, Ciarain Burke, Ronnie Drew, and Barney and Barney Mc Kenna and including John Sheahan as a group of talented singers with intent and heart,
