these lights are so good, i bought 5 of them. two for my gaming setup and the other three as a headshot lighting source. if you,re familiar with Peter Hurley, headshot pro, he has his brand name Wescott headshot kit that costs $6,000, and just three of these panels are more than enough ( set at 85% power ) for headshot photography including some interesting catch lights.

What will be with the Remote after time when the battery capacity will cut? I mean.. can you replace the internal battery?
Hi Tomas …I liked your review so much I bought a pair for riverside recording. Could you help me…how to change channels and connect to the lights to pair one controller , and also separate controller? So perhaps a quick vid for those pairing these. You deserve the commission from Godox.

thanks for the great review, especially the end. is 1 light sufficient for lighting a talking head for youtube/zoom, or do you recommend 2 lights?
That's definitely enough for what you're looking to accomplish. If you think you need another one you could always get a second later. Go for one and save some money.

What about minimum brightness and eyes strain?

Not at all. These things can run all day without issue.
Hey there -- I actually just bought this light. I plugged it in, turned it on -- no light. The control panels work, but the light panels do not emit any light. I've tried different outlets. I've tried running through the channels on the panel to make sure it communicates with the light. Nothing. I called B&H Customer Service, who said this is rare and they'd send a replacement. The second (replacement) is doing the same thing. Am I doing something wrong?
I'm not quite sure what is wrong. Mine power on as long as the power switch is flipped on the light itself. The controller can turn on without that and the light will not turn on. 🤷♂️
The main lamp doesn't run in battery, only control operator does. There are many seller put in description that es45 runs on battery. Is there anyone notice the same with me, or is it different version in different country?
Th light doesn't have a battery. The controller is the only thing with a battery. 👍
