You dont see a lot of faded paint on BMWs. I wonder if someone got a little carried away with paint correction and ate through all of the clear coat.
It's probably all the leaking antifreeze that usually eats the paint. If it's constant leaking from that overflow tank that missed eats away the pain over the hood rough and even trunk as you're driving takes a long time but it does happen

I literally just bought, and installed this MHD on my 2011 BMW 335xi(with 71,600 miles). I bought the "Master License", also my car is Unmodified so I installed the stage 1 93 octane tune. I also did the Exhaust tune too with my stock exhaust, and it really brought it to life. I noticed an IMEDIATE power increase, and overall performance increase with this tune. I used the THOR OBD II wifi adaptor, and the tune only took 12 minutes to write(I did not put a battery charger on my battery, and it was fine).
If you are scared to tune your BMW like I was, as my BMW is stock(other than the tune), its a 1 owner car and I still have a loan on her, so I was really scared to install this MHD, I was also scared of getting a bunch of warning lights on due to changing the ECU factory settings. Although every warning light did come on during my first test drive, all I had to do was turn off the ignition and remove the key for 30 seconds, and ALL of the warning lights went off, so I super happy overall.
If anyone is curious, I paid $345.00 USD, and its totally worth it if you want about 30HP more in just 15 minutes with your stock N54 or N55, it IS worth it

Cold start noise reduction doesn't mess with the exhaust flap. It just keeps the idle much lower. I use it year round with no issues. My wastegates are worn out, without cold start noise reduction they rattle real bad on cold start. I also use the rattle fix option so it doesn't rattle on decel. I have a custom tune that makes 23 psi. Makes well over 500 crank HP. 471 wheel hp shifted early so hp was still climbing. Intercooler, charge pipe, stage 2 fuel pump, silicone inlets, dual cone air filter, no cats through stock mufflers.
Damn, with all that hp have you changed the transmission? If it’s an automatic or if not any problem with the trans? Please respond , looking to do the same to my 335i

I have a lot of weight reduction and race wheels and just installed my DP with only secondary cats no mufflers after and I can’t launch above 12psi now the power hike is crazy but on the run with 17psi it reminds me of my old 700hp Supra loving my 335i ATM

@@Heke_hourani I actually have a 6MT/manual. sometimes I wish I had gone with the auto, it being a turbo car and not having to build boost all over again, but I've only ever owned manuals (5.0 foxbody mustang, and G35 coupe) and don't regret it. soon I will be going pure stage 2, and if I have any problems will likley upgrade to the 335is/550i clutch.

@@mihey671 I have a front mount întercooler, chargepipe, sealed cold air intake, GFB DV+, and catless downpipe. for my tune I'm using MHD stage 2+ 91 octane map because of the crappy gas in California, but once in a while run the e30 map.

@@eurochargedmason1989 a base map is just a general tune for all where a custom/pro tune you send them data back so they can fine tune for the specific vehicle and how it performs. so there's different base tunes (stage1, stage2/2+) depending on the mods and fuel being used etc.
nein scheisse base maps are actually more to keep your car from blowing up till you get a tune (i.e. my roommates boosted teg is on a base map until he can afford a real tune.) Our tunes arnt base maps there a flash tune with countless hours of r&d (research and development) done on a dyno. His car on our tune was a stage 2 tune still.
As for mhd, there tunes even tho it seems like an everybody can grab tune. You can log data and send for their own r&d or for more dialing
@@eurochargedmason1989 i get all that. i consider any tune whether it's stage 1 or whatever number to be a "base" tune until data logs are sent in for refinement. but, i'm no expert. got a 335 i'm puttin parts on now and why i'm following this guys vids. i was going with mhd so far but like i said i don't know much about tunes but i am a master tech and doing my research. so, you do tunes? that's awesome, sounds exiting.

I’m about to tune my 335is but that’s the thing, it’s a manual. I want to try the burbles but I’m thinking I have to set it to 5000 rpm because manuals don’t have a sports mode.

I went the opposite. I had a 2006 350z with the 300 HP and picked up a 135i and it's a lil bit faster than the Z.. maybe even with the new 370 a. But the difference is, it's a 4 seater and cheaper to gain 50% more hp! With just a tune and some bolt ons.

Just got an all black 2008 335i e93. Was between that and a 2005-2011 mustang gt. Chose the n54 engine because of tunability and so far loving it

MY 535xi shakes over bumps even small ones. The suspension is tight tight no play and I replaced the motor mounts and all 4 shocks, and lower arms its still there. Wtf does anyone know? Everything is literally tight. I can't figure it out.
rsx123 to see if it’s engine related drive and then put it in neutral, let your rpms drop and see if it’s still shaking, if it continues it’s most likely suspension, if it does stop check your spark plugs cause it could be uneven firing per cylinder or something else, google is your friend

Turbo seals on the 335i are steel rings, if you have catalytic converters it could cause them some problems.
@@VehicleVirals I wouldn't count on burbles hurting the stock turbos, I have a custom tune that runs them up to 23 psi and they haven't blown yet.

Hello did you get an upgraded charge pipe for that before the tune or anything different with the exhaust? please clarify everything you did because I’m thinking of trading in my 328 I 4 turbo
Its a year later so im sure this is useless, but hes running FBO. Full Bolt On for BMW really is the charge pipe, FMIC (front mount intercooler), and a form of aftermarket downpipe whether its a cattless downpipe or high flow catted downpipe. He has also attached a blow off valve to his chargepipe. Upgrading the charge pipe is necessary for running higher amounts of boost and will be going from the plastic from factory to most likely aluminum, and upgrading intercooler to increase levels of induced cold air. Best thing to find is a stepped intercooler, 5 inch is perfect if youre looking to hit around 400-500 HP. Anything more like a HP fuel pump, upgraded turbos or direct injection really requires a 7.5 inch stepped intercooler otherwise its more than necessary.
wait so it when from stock 270hp 300 torqueue to 400hp and 443 torque, those numbers are actually insane, im an n52 e90 owner and I wish mhd flash worked on my car, i even have the same dcan tool and adapter for android like you before i realized they only tune n54/55, nice job man.

No mods needed for stage 1 tune
Go to a little airport , where it's just small airplanes no jets, and u can get higher octane gas. I can get 105 in town hear and I mix it , 4 or 5 gallons in then fill it up.

I beta tested the MHD the summer it came out. There are a few guys that make stackable tunes on top of that as well!
Oh oh oh! DEFINITELY GO E85. With a stock fuel pump and all stock injectors and everything you can still run 30% e85 and boy its gonna fly. It's very noticeably faster

Just get some high flow downpipes. For stage 2+ it's also recommended to get a FMIC.

Christian, I know I am now intruigued with MHD to see how many different platforms they cover. What might a tune on an SHO produce? Hmmm... If I do go that route I will try to make as best as I can comparison video. A Stock SHO should be able to reach 400s. Great video by the way and thanks for sharing with us on the progress of your BMW. Best wishes as always and Peace Out!
I know for sure the SHO comes undertuned so you should be able to easily get more power out of it with just a tune and nothing else!
I hope you backed up your eurocharged tune. Mhd doesn't compare to the eurocharged tune imo. I run it on my n55, with their burble variant that kicks in above 3k rpm. Incredibly smooth power delivery. At minimum a few hp and a lot of torque more than mhd. (They can't keep up)
I can always get my Eurocharged tune back from the shop as I have a partnership with them. I do agree with smooth power delivery.

I noticed you could knock off the 02 sensor with the tune would that help with smog then ? I’m not passing smog because my 02 sensor since I have catless downpipes, would I b able to pass smog after using the tune to by pass the check engine light ?
