Going MHD Stage 2+ in my BMW E90 335i! - Was it worth it?

- In today's vlog we finally upgrade the tune on my E90 335i to stage 2 plus using MHD! I'll share the install process as well as my initial thoughts. Gonna have some rips and pulls so be sure to watch the entire video!!

2011 n55 pwg e90 here fbo running stage 2 + e30 tune with xhp stage 3 trans tune and x delete.....Beast!!!! 40 roll in 2nd and punch it nothing but sideways and even 3rd sometimes when you punch it sideways at a 50 roll.....lol

Yeah mon, I pull n54 stock and it still runs hot
Yeah it’s best to upgrade the factory intercooler definitely helps with heat soak
So all you need to tune your car is the $80 piece of plastic? I have an ‘11 N55 and was wondering if these tunes work on that engine just as well as the N54
😂 No you still need to purchase the software from MHD but the gains are noticeable, not as much as the N54 engine but still improved.
Question, when you did your stage 1 tune, what did you have on the car and as far as the numbers, what were they with stage 1 and what are they with stage 2 now?
Stage 1 put me at about 350-360hp and with stage 2+ I was closer to 400hp
@@MotoGearTVNice, make sure you protect that motor with the crank seal plate incase the belt breaks, its a nightmare worst case scenario...
So how many hp up+?
Are you running the stock downpipes for stage 2+? Also do you have fmic installed?
No high flow catted downpipe, you have to upgrade your downpipes in order to run stage 2
Where did you get your rims at ?And what are the size ? I have the same 2011 335i but mine is White

Is the code 2bde anything to worry about? My car has been throwing that code a little while now

I'm guessing you have hatless downpipes, what exhaust are you running?

Determines the max speed for you to hear the burbles when you let off the gas

Get a metal valve cover (aluminum) trust me it’ll be one of the best things to do so you’ll never have to worry about it cracking ever.
Definitely will consider!

@@whoareyou551 Sorry for the late reply, Vargas Turbo Technologies (VTT) sell ones in a few colors, but silver would be clean too. Amazon has some cheap chinese aluminum ones and im not sure about those but they are definitely much cheaper. Just do some window shopping and you’ll find the right one! Good luck my friend.

I just picked up a 2007 335xi bmw. He is the only owner the car has 57,000 miles and only bmw has worked on the car . WHAT SHOULD I DO FIRST.
Congrats, it all depends on your preference it could be looks or performance. Personally if the maintenance is up to date I would do full bolt-ons intake, charge pipe etc I know that the xi cars sit higher so suspension would be another consideration as well, you can do springs or coilovers depending on the budget you have.
What's the better ride going to be riding interstate 95 alot
Coilovers will be a better choice because you can adjust the ride quality as opposed to just springs which typically have a firmer ride
