It seems like such a basic question to answer, but 'how to change a Henry hoover bag' is a question that 1000s of people a week search for online.
Imagine that you have never owned a Henry. This could be one of the first questions you have about your new family member.
As always I am here to help with any questions that you need answering about your Henry.
How to Change Henry's Bag
1. Remove Henry's 'hat' by pulling on both clips on each side, then lifting off using the handle.
2. Remove the filter and put this to one side
3. Carefully remove the bag from the black bag holder which is inside, behind his 'nose'
4. Close the flap on your bag so that the hole is blocked off. This means that the dirt and dust inside won't escape when you take it to the bin.
5. Now replace the Henry hoover bag with your new one. With the writing facing up, push the bag onto the bag holder ensuring that the rubber seal goes over the lip on the bag holder. This will stop it from coming off inside during use.
6. Replace the filter, then the top and you are good to go.

Brilliant. Solved, in one, something I couldn't get from the manufacturer. So happy. Made my Bank Holiday weekend. Thank you!
Thank you and glad I helped. Have a great weekend 😊
Henry’s hat. I like it. 🎩
Thanks a lot you saved me from reading the whole instructions
Again what an awesome video. Succinct, and to the point, welldone!
I hate it when people do videos and half of the time they are looking for a screwdriver or talking about what they had for dinner 😂
I was wondering why the pressure was less, and I thought that maybe the bag was filled. I didn't know how to open and change it but this video guided me through every stage.
Thank you so much.
Thank you for this , got my new henry today, there was a bag already inside , but this is good to know when I need to change it.
Just bought a Henry today. Absolutely brilliant. The suction is unreal. Thanks for this video and you've explained perfectly how easy the bag change operation is. Honestly, there cannot be better hoovers on the market than Henry and his friends.
Glad I helped. Always here for any advise. Jonny

Question: If you have to remove the filter to change the bag, doesn't that defeat the purpose of having the filter? i.e. the smaller dust particles can escape during the bag-changing process?
The filter is between the bag and motor on all bagged vacuum cleaners. The filter stops any dirt form getting to the motor that escapes the bag during vacuuming.
You remove the filter to get to the bag with the vacuum off.
If I spill any dist in the bin I wipe it out before use to keep the filter clean.
👍🏿
If I have about 20 spiders 10 moths and few daddy longs legs in there when I change the bag are they going to be still alive and try escape
Don’t know you will have to try and let me know 😂
Performance wise - is there any difference between these bags and the paper ones? Not used the paper bags before and they are certainly cheaper?
No difference that you would be able to tell at all. The paper bags are discontinued as a genuine item, so all paper bags are the compatible type... just as good but much cheaper. One thing I would say are that the filter bags are stronger if you do any heavy duty vacuuming.eg, Building site. We have compatible, Genuine and Reusable bags on henrybags.co.uk
i thought theyre re usable bags?
No but you can get reusable ones
@@HenryBags How do you get the reusable ones?
