Please try any song at Montreal 1981. Queen was Perfect. Special favorites include Somebody To Love, Love of My Life, Bo Rhap and Save Me. This was the last concert with just the 4 of them. After this concert, they had a piano offstage so Freddie could run around more. You get to see Brian playing piano with his guitar slung over his back, playing piano and waiting for Freddie to take over. Also they performed Under Pressure for the first time in front of an audience. The whole concert is beyond belief. Great reaction!

Love this live version of Radio Ga Ga at Live Aid!! The crowd is under the spell of Freddie Mercury. But guys, now you should do Queen’s full 20 min set!! It went down in history as the best single performance by an artist of all time (considering the circumstances). Amazing how they managed to fit six songs in their 20 min time slot. Btw, Lady Ga Ga took her name from this song. She is a huge Queen fan!! 👑😁👏👏

Live Aid in '85 was truly amazing! I was 14 & our family was glued to the TV for the duration. I lived 45mins from the Philadelphia concert site & it was a staggering sight to see the size of the crowd there and at Wembley.

Great reaction, thanks! Wow, I can't believe you haven't listened to their whole Live Aid performance in it's entirety. I would strongly encourage you to do the whole set from start to finish so you can really experience the full magic that is Queen. Guys, seriously, even if you don't want to react to it, consider watching it for your own viewing pleasure. It really is something that everyone should see in it's entirety at least once in their life. You will not regret it. Queen does not disappoint. Did you know their Live Aid performance is still today considered the best live rock performance ever? It was broadcast live to 1.9 billion people around the world. I watched it from home in the U.S. Wish I could have been there live.

Hi Guys, THANKS for doing the Queen reaction.🖖
With Live Aid, you REALLY need do the entire 20 minute set all-in-one-go, to see why it's called one of the greatest live performances in rock history: Because the energy BUILDS/it's the FASTEST 20 minutes you can imagine!
The Bohemian Rhapsody piece at the start of Live Aid, is only the intro/NOT the whole thing.... You should react to a performance of the whole song. (My FAV is at Wembley Stadium 1986 on FRIDAY, JULY 11... not Saturday, July 12... Fred's voice is in better shape on Friday).

Hi guys sorry to say this but I was actually in that crowd that day. I was 16 years old and it was the first time I had ever seen Queen live, I have been a fan ever since and I am now 52 years old. None of us knew whether Queen would be appearing as they weren't on the official line up and they weren't on the tickets either. The whole crowd of us went mental when they started and the rest of the day was pretty flat after they had finished. I saw Queen twice live the following year in 1986, one at Wembley and the LAST ever live performance of Freddie with Queen at Knebworth Park where there were 150,000 of us in the crowd. Queen flew in by helicopters and we could see them over us it was magical. RIP my ultimate hero Freddie xxxx

Freddie loved his opera, yes go check out Barcelona, with Mostserrat Caballe, that is amazing. The song was to be sung at the Barcelona Olympics but Freddie didn't make it. The song is just stunning, to think how sick he was by then and to write such beautiful music is mind blowing. Freddie did a whole album of Opera with her, the best soprano in the world! RIP Freddie and Mostserrat, heaven has two more stars to grace the heavens.

Live aid was a charityconcert - famine in Africa. 72.000 at Wembley ,100.00 in Philadelphia and aproximately 1,9 billion via satellite. Each band/performer had exactly 20 min. White the stage was prepared for the next performance the other venue was shown on Big screens. There was no special effects and therefore no costumes so it was pure musicianship . It is concidered the best performance of all times.

One interviewer asked Freddie, what is your favorite thing to play? His response: "The audience, darling!" There were over 100,000 people at Wembley Stadium for this concert, so he had a great time playing them. Check out the full Queen set from this concert: czcams.com/video/TkFHYODzRTs/video.html It's reported that as Queen was leaving the stage, David Bowie said to Freddie, "How the fuck am I supposed to follow that?!?!", and Sir Elton John said "You know you just stole the whole fucking show!" For 21 minutes, the UK was ruled by a different "Queen".

And also check out Freddie Mercury in a duet with opera legend Monserrat Caballe; this version done in 1988 at La Nit, as a promo for the 1992 Olympics that would be held in Barcelona, Spain. czcams.com/video/hkskujG0UYc/video.html

Always get visions of Bowie peeking onto this thinking do I really have to go on after this. Was talking to one of the blokes who was on stage in white, he was saying there was a placard up before the stage saying leave your egos here.

Another one Bites the dust one the biggest selling number one songs in the States. I hate that John is always overlooked when it comes to the talent of Queen. Every one of them wrote number one songs. The talents was mind blowing. The magic of Queen was just that, when those four musicians made music it was magical. The combination of those 4 voices, instruments, and writing was such a gift to us all

Never saw them in person, to my lifetime disappointment, but I watched ALL of Live Aid in 1985 (18 years old and going to college in 1 month) on one of my 3 channels available in Oklahoma at the time. 😂 That shows you what a BIG deal this actually was and until Queen, well, honestly, it was bad. And these were big time names and big time bands. Queen single-handedly saved Live Aid. They were a stadium band, their goal was to entertain people and massive amounts of people, and it showed. They also rehearsed, that wonderful footage is available on YT, and it was perfectly timed for the amount of time they had. When you look at their back catalog of music in 1985, it was huge and this is actually a masterpiece of timing in the music world. Which is one of the many reasons they stood out. They literally picked their best and most popular songs, one new song, and put whole songs In as well as bits and pieces and they were so good at this that it was just one after another after another. And if you don’t watch the encore with just Freddie and Brian May on a 12 string acoustic guitar with Freddie singing “Is this the World we Created” you are missing out. Freddie was actually sick, the doc told him not to do this, so this is Freddie when he was sick? You cannot tell until “We are the Champions” and Roger had to step in a few times to boost the sound vocally. You cannot tell at all unless you are VERY familiar with Queen and with Freddie. What a wonderful day for Queen, this pulled them back together, they were trying to do solo stuff at the time, they never officially broke up, but they were taking a break from each other. And they were together until Freddie passed away. And now again to entire new generations with the movie and with Adam Lambert. This is so unnecessarily controversial with Queen fans and I think this is one of those things that if we do not go see Queen with Adam Lambert, that still has Brian and Roger, we will again experience one of those lifetime disappointments one day. 💗
