Sitting in a freakin' hotelroom on a day off, and drinking gin/tonics while watching your videos. Isn't this what life's about? :-P See you soon, my friend!
Nice job ready to race .I had that gear driver out about 20 times on my model A trying to time it turned out that some clown had drill out the point plate so you couldn’t get it to fire on number one .runs great how but it was doing my head in at the time 👍🏼take it easy mate 👍🏼🍺🇳🇿😎
I just discovered your channel (and I am enjoying) while feeding my curiosity of Model A fords. I have often thought about eventually owning one. I need some explanation as to what is going on with the 29. Did I miss something where the Cyclone head again failed? Is the Roadster getting the Y block? Thank you in advance…
Welcome! The model A is a very fun car to own and it's easy to use and maintain. The second Cyclone head was leaking water at the same spot as the first one. It's amazing. New cast aluminum heads could be that bad. The y-block is going in the roadster so the tudor will continue to be a 4-banger.
//Martin
Aloha! No the Cyclone alu head was cast so bad I ended up not using it. The first one I got was bad and leaked water and the second one was exactly the same. 🤦♂️
You are excused. 😉 The original distributor didn't like the higher rev and the magneto produce a much better spark. I don't have to adjust the timing while driving with this magneto and that's good. 👌 Also it looks cool. 😁
I've never enjoyed watching somebody do something I'll never do, so much! Actually, it was very interesting. That mag has a hell of a spark!
Thank you sir! Yes it's got alo of power. 👌😎
I gatta get my magneto going… great video 🤙🏻
Thank you Will. You gotta! They are cool and reliable. I have one more video with the magneto on my channel somewhere. 😁
That sounds really snappy, i want one!
Thank you. You need one. 👍
Excellent job Martin, great running banger. That Desoto is a true beauty as well!
Thank you Ryan! Yes, the DeSoto is a pearl. Lived in Las Vegas frome new and moved to Reno before it ended up in Sweden.

Add a little anti seize lubricant goes a long way. :-)

What happened to the aluminum head, didn't it work out?

Inga problem med De Soton, den kan ja ta han om......🥰
Haha! Det tror jag säkert. Fel DeSoto bara. 😉
Please excuse my ignorance, but what is the advantage of a magneto over a distributor?
