This game has officially made history.
The thing about bayonetta is she is no where near as iconic as the others. The only reason you stated her is because she's third party. Nothing wrong with that but she shouldn't be grouped with gaming legends.

It's worth mentioning that Mario also gets a lot of characterization in these trailers. He's shown off as always rushing in, ready to fight, no questions asked.

I haven't played Awakening yet, even though most of the reviewers say it is one of the best (or the best) games there is for the 3DS, so I'll get one next month and when I finish it, I'll get Fates. Sadly, I still have to buy a lot of games (Bravely Second, FF Explorers, Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, Zelda Tri Force Heroes, Hyrule Warriors Legends, etc), so I don't know in which order I'll buy all that, but I'm sure next year will be amazing.

For some reason. I highly doubt this is going to happen but I feel like when nintendo announces the exact dates for Corrin and Bae-yonetta (:P) They are going to announce ONE more character. That being Wolf. He's gonna have his own trailer basically saying something along the lines of him not following rules or something cheesy like that. He will be available in march, the time SF0 is released. Then nintendo is going to have a promotion for him. Wolf will be available for DLC as usually, 3.99 or 4.99 for both systems. but if you preorder SF0 you get a free download code for him on both wii u and 3ds systems. thats just a thought i've benn having on my head for quite a while. I am 99% sure that its not going to happen but still...i wouldn't mind if they did it like that.

True, CF doesn't need a gun, it's just there for looks, in fact, there is no gun, it's just a prop, it's fused to the holster, it's only for the intimidation factor...not that you wouldn't fear him without it. Let the cowards use their guns, they can't run forever.

Doom Desire Bayonetta does too. You'd understand if you've played the original games- her guns actually do a great deal less damage to enemies and, if I dare to say it, they're actually a pretty bad choice to use during a boss fight if you ever get the chance to attack them with your fists or legs. In fact, most of the fights revolve around using melee attacks, as the enemies in Bayonetta tend to be much harder than anything you'd see in Smash, so Witch Time is very important if you wanna increase your chances of survival. Yes, she can use guns in Smash, but any true Bayonetta fan will know that guns aren't where her power lies, they're just for when the enemy is too far away to hit with a punch to the face.
tl;dr: Bayonetta can use guns, but it is actually highly encouraged that you have the guts to tackle the enemy head-on.
