How To: Use a Line Splitter to Measure Current/Amperage

A quick and easy step-by-step guide on how to measure the current from your outlets using a line splitter.
For the purpose of this video, we'll be using the R5400 AC Line Splitter and the R5020 AC Clamp Meter. These steps will work for most line splitters.
The steps start at 0:26 -
Step 1: Plug line splitter into power strip or wall receptacle - 0:26
Step 2: Connect device to line splitter and power on - 0:30
Step 3: Turn on the clamp meter - 0:35
Step 4: Clamp the meter onto the line splitter and read your measurements - 0:41
