I love that Courtney’s self discovery story coincidentally matches up with what Nick was experiencing in the show! I appreciate the scenes even more now knowing it’s a true personal story. I’m also so glad they went with Courtney as I see bi men face unique struggles and having him as a catalyst for Nick understanding himself more makes it even more special in my opinion 💗
All I can say it I'm just very grateful, so looking forward to season 3
I’m really happy that Heartstopper came into my life. It helped me figure myself out a little more, it helped me feel understood and less alone in the world. It helped me confront feelings that I had repressed since high school. I don’t just love and respect the characters in the show, I also love and respect the cast and crew behind the show especially Alice herself. Like so many others, I wish this queer love story was in my life when I was younger.
I'm so glad that you two lovely chaps are friends. Two of my favourite CZcams creators working together is so nice to see. You both make such warm and awesome content. Keep being yourselves. 😊😊😊
I am glad to finally see this part of your conversation with Courtney. Of course, I’ve heard him talk about his experience making the show on his channel, but this gave some extra elements of the story that I really enjoyed. He finally did get through reacting to all the episodes of Young Royals so far, and he just put out a message on his Patreon about also doing a rewatch. All of this makes me really hopeful for the two of you finally being able to react to Bad Buddy whenever your schedules line up to do so.
I wonder how much he was paid for his bit part.

I absolutely love how Courtney is repeatedly using "I'm bi, actually" toward the end here. I think that's possibly the only way to declare one's non-monosexuality from now on. I am no longer able to just say "I'm bi." It will forevermore always be "I'm bi, actually." Alice did that. And I love it because of the way that it both declares who you are (for those of us who are bi+) AND combats bi erasure at the same time. 🩷💜💙

Why not just say 'I'm a non-monosexual' ? 🧐 'Bisexual' is so passé.
@@gregory5851 You know, if I was writing an academic paper on it, I absolutely would use "non-monosexual". But for casual speech, "I'm bi, actually" is just much more natural and conversational. That's why.
