- I have tested a lot of phones in 2024, but none of the cameras have impressed me quite as much as the Vivo X100 Pro and Huawei Pura 70 Ultra. In this video, I'm attempting to find out which phone takes the best photos and videos.
These phones are the global variants, running EMUI and FuntouchOS, respectively.

Huawei needs to step up their processing to be the camera king again.
Nothing compares to Vivo processing with V3 chip.
Weird that the Huawei with the better tech (Sensor Shift) seems to struggle with low light main camera stabilization.
Front Cam in low light also seems a win for Vivo
Huawei has good hardware but software control isn’t as refined as their chip bottleneck by the US is making them not have enough processing power

After few testing, nothing compares to natural look of Xperia. Simply marketing and nothing realistic as photography should look. Huawei simply no way for its harmony and Vivo better but it's such a brick. Both too expensive for what it should. Cheers!

Yes pura 70 do not swoich to oprical if not enough light so keep cropp from main. And some more odd ideas on this phone. For now I keep p60 pro and looking to swap in next few months but not sure whats better, perhabs x100 ultra

I wouldn't take this comparison seriously because the settings aren't fully explored, maybe only in vivo because there aren't many settings there. Just a click here and that's it.
Huawei seems to add contrast way too much to apply the sharp effect. Totally not a natural look. I'm talking about the video in daytime

I dont think Huawei really dominates in photos... Look at the flowers shots, Huawei overexposed most of the time

And low light photos Vivo beats it easily maintaining those highlights

i vote for huawei
In every single picture I find vivo is either better or very close but it never drops the ball. Huawei misses with greenish photos and strange grass color, visible blooming in the highlights or strange colors in night photos. With vivo also being cheaper if I would have to pick one it would definitely be the vivo.
I looked at dxo rankings and I saw vivo only comes in eleventh place right at Huawei mate 50 Pro. Pura 70 ultra is #1 and much better than any non Huawei/Honor product.

Huawei may not be better overall across all categories

Huawei heeft betere details, vivo is 's nachts blijkbaar feller dan de lamp in de auto, maar vlak naast de lamp verliest vivo details, en in Huawei zie je het net als overal mooi.
The Huawei over sharpens the hell out of most photos and in the dark it's noise reduction creates huge aways with no detail. Zoom in on a tree or plant on the Huawei, you'll see what I mean. I BET that if you analyzed most these photos without knowing which was which, you would pick the Vivo much more often as the better photo.,

@@Strongnation1 no, I have installed microG on my P60 pro and some notifications and some important apps did not run correctly. I sold, it, now I have a Pixel 8 pro, far inferior in photo. So considering buying a Vivo X100 pro.
