- Playing Technique:
I tried to apply a Geezer playing style. That means playing very firmly between the neck pickup and neck.
All bass knobs at full
- Gear Sound:
Lots of mid in order to get a heavier sound and less treble to get the bass sound of this song in particular. This sound has clearly less definition than other typical Geezer lines.
- About The Song:
Lots of stamina needed, you can play this song very quietly and it will not get the same effect. Because of those two factors it is not a very simple song to play.
I'm personally not much used to playing that way and you can notice that. Some sloppy parts but i think the idea is there if you want to learn the song!

Awesome job as usual. It never ceases to amaze me just how much more sophisticated, clever and technical sabbath were once Ronnie joined the band. Some of the runs and particularly, the bridge is considerably more complex than just about everything they composed in the 70s.

@@brennoreveles5638 Only Gruber says it, Tony said they jammed a bit before the album record but Geezer played during the studio works.
@@brennoreveles5638 It's not true, Craig Gruber was supposed to play bass on Heaven and Hell and I think he even recorded demos for all the songs but at the final moment Geezer returned to Black Sabbath. Tony asked Geezer to listen Craig Gruber's demo tapes but Geezer refused to listen it and wrote his own basslines for the album.

I would love to see Prequel to the Sequel by Between the Buried and Me covered. They're incredibly technical for a heavier band. If the length would be an issue, Viridian by them would be great as well.

CoverSolutions what do the little markings mean after some of the notes mean? i know the ( shape with the p over it is a pull-off but what about the ones that dont have a letter next to it?
I think you mean the ties. A tie is just a time indication for two notes that are stuck together. I'ts commonly used on classical notation (musical pentagram) to indicate that two notes with the same pitch are tied and you need to just play the first note. In tablature it doesn't mean much.
