      I know this doesn't go with what we're talking about but once when I was in San Antonio, Texas visiting friends I saw something weird that makes these aircraft we have look like child's play on a Sunday picnic. As we were stopped at a stoplight in a very dark part of the city, at about 2 a.m., we noticed something come out of a cloud; an oblong, glowing white/soft lime green in color, noiseless object that came out from there. This object was extremely huge and took off and within 2 seconds was all the way to the clear horizon. We were astounded and asked each other that if we had seen that and they all said yes. Whatever it was and with this technology and whoever owns it will knock our socks off any day of the week! That's how impressive it was This thing was beyond any technology or mach technology we have now. It's almost as it traveled at sublight speed at the blink of an eye. Something that fast would have killed any human being because of the G forces that would be extremely horrendous on a human body.

    5:00 I was on Highway 12 once passing Travis AFB when my car started making a horrible screeching noise. I pulled over at once and shut the engine off, but the horrible screeching continued. I was really confused until a huge shadow passed over and I realized it wasn't my car making the noise, it was a damn C-5 taking off.
    I grew up in Fairfield, Ca, very close to Travis, and still, the sheer size of the C-5 is just astonishing. It's like watching an office block take off and fly.

    How do the heat shields of the jet thrusters compare to that of the heat shields on a space shuttle as well as those who shields of a standard space shot such as the one that carried us all of America to the moon
    Please share this with NASA

    • @F110mech
      @F110mech Před 2 lety +1

      Jet engine exhaust blast hitting a TR blocker door is significantly cooler than the 3000F surface temps of the shuttle experiences during re-entry...Those jet engines, at the hottest and most internal core section (HPT) are typically 1200F or less. By the time that air hits the blocker door, it's cooled off by more than 50%. Why would NASA need any advice? They have booster engines with heat shields and those withstand significantly higher temps with more vibrational, tensile, and all stresses over any commercial or military aircraft engine.
