Fished in this same spot last week, and I'm pretty sure that same gator was hanging around there.

Most likely. It has gotten used to stealing fish from people.

@@Photobonobo Tried again a few days ago with a whopper plopper knockoff about an hour before sunset. No fish but I had five strikes and every time that gator swam to the splash really fast. Around sunset he got close to the shore like in your video but wouldn't move, and was looking at me like I might be dinner. I think I'm done with that spot.

Hey, Buddy! How recent is this Video? I ain't seen nothing but Tilapia and Plecos down there in 4 years!! LoL

This was a couple months ago. Fishing has gotten better. Still a lot of plecos, but the tilapia population has gone down a bit I think.
