Is it just me? But does this (all personal) go-fast boats to nowhere seem stupid? Outside of drug running. And joining a club of go-fast boats to go to a sandbar once a month somewhere seem stupid?

2000hp for that size you should at least be Rocklin 2x1550's

Love this ride. Pretty sure this is one of the only 5 or so "Evolutions" built by Cigarette. They were the Revolution hull with a custom flat deck on top (unlike the bubble top of the Revolution). These were the precursors to the Tiger. Love what you guys did with it!
You are correct, very few of these were ever made. Quite a rare hull. Innovation Marine and Core Powerboats did the restoration.

Thanks for the video. The ditch is basically dry now (6/28/22). As the field ponds fill this summer, we should begin to see water. The wife and I did well in one of the field ponds for bass a couple of days ago. We fished out of our kayaks and were catching decent size largemouths. However, the bass seemed to be mostly be in the middle of the field pond. If we catch any snook there, we'll let you know. Thanks, John!
Both the gators I encountered in that pond were jerks. I think too many people feed them. As soon as I catch one bass they will come across the pond and come right to me. It's a big ass gator too. I went there today and they had no fishing signs everywhere. I figured something happened with that gator and someone got scared lol. The huge male had my cornered in a spot I had nowhere to go. His girlfriend snuck up on me too lol.

@@Photobonobo Tried again a few days ago with a whopper plopper knockoff about an hour before sunset. No fish but I had five strikes and every time that gator swam to the splash really fast. Around sunset he got close to the shore like in your video but wouldn't move, and was looking at me like I might be dinner. I think I'm done with that spot.

That bass fishing video was great my videos always kinda suck lol. You should do some videos on your filming setup I have GoPro hero 9 but i suck at the settings!!
I use a GoPro hero 9 and sometimes a Sony a7rii. Plan to upgrade to the a7iv soon and I just added a DJI air2s to the mix. Hope to get some cool aerial shots to spice up the videos. Just have to get used to hand launching the drone so I don’t carry a launchpad. I use adobe Lightroom to edit everything and color grade a small amount. As for settings I just use the flat color profile so I can add my own contrast and saturation, then I set my white balance before I start to avoid weird color shifts and keep everything cohesive. It is a bit overboard for a CZcams video with no followers, but I like the practice for the paid work I do.

Unfortunately they have closed it down to the public again for "construction" which I assume means putting up all sorts signs prohibiting all the fun stuff. We will see what happens when it opens again.
Nice one dude. I'll say that there's a fella on a golf cart kicked me and some buddy's out of there three times now. He works for the city and monitors the park, say's there's no fishing at all. Told him to screw off and we just come back and keep fishing til he tells us to leave. First time he was kind of cool, said construction starts there on Feb 1 and he'd let us slip around there until then. The very furthest back pond from the parking lot to the north we pulled three around 3-4lb back to back one morning
If you're talking about the one closest to 17th, then that is the only pond on the course I had ever fished before they opened it up to the public lol. Sadly it is closed down again and probably won't be nearly as fun when they open it up again.
