Hi! I wanna buy the Makita for cave exploring. How is the flood light + beam?

Milwaukee is too bulky, i like the makita because its smaller and has a stud hanger

Battery level is on the battery not on the flashlight.
    5000k vs 4000k....5000 is a brighter / whiter light

Milwaukee seems at bit over built and heavy but the buttons are better placed.

He says "I like the Milwaukee better" 😂 No bias here (with no less than 9 Milwaukee batteries from multiple platforms on the table behind him) .
The Makita does not rotate 180 degrees the way the Milwaukee does, this is true by design because limiting it to 90 deg makes for a significantly lighter tool (nearly a full pound lighter), sturdier, more compact tool with 20% longer run time on a 5.0 AH Battery
The Makita can be used for 180 degree rotation by simply facing the grip from west to east by spinning it on whatever you have it standing on (table, floor etc) , the 180 deg movement on the Milwaukee is literally useless . Who is going to rotate the head instead of just rotating the base ?
The Makita's mode button being on the front of the handle facing up allows you to change modes while not having to pick the tool up by pushing down on the button...you are tipping the Milwaukee over every time unless you use 2 hands .
The flood only mode is far superior on the Makita with its smaller 16 leds with the spotlight mode being identical.
The Makitas 5000k light color is also a plus in a work tool, over the warmer 4000K Milwaukee. The Makita is less expensive as well. The only + for Milwaukee is the 5 year warranty over Makitas 3 year.

Milwaukee light is clearer when lighting up the ground here on the video. You can see details clearly. Makita is blurry to my eyes. Do you guys see that same thing?
My eyes don’t like the reflection from the bluish lights. That softer yellowish seems easier to see thru.. and like it’s wrapping around things instead of reflecting.
Just tried the makita light for a minute couple days ago. Want a big boy now:)

Makita is Teal, and why would you want to rotate the Milwaukee into your face? Both seem ok

Milwaukee to bulky for one. Looks cheaper made. I have this makita light and love it

It would have been interesting to know how much they weighed? The Milwaukee looks kinda overdone and unnecessarily bulky.

Don't get the 180 degree argument. You know you can spin the entire light 180 degrees.

Milwaukee is made for americans. 😀 That's why, you turn the head 360 - so you can't see both switches. 😀 😀
