If you’re spending an entire month in the south of France, definitely take the GT3! You’ve got the ideal 2 car garage: the X3 M40d and the GT3. Drive down in the BMW with the GT3 on a trailer on the back, then use any loaner cars whilst you’re there too.

Damn, Sam and Tony balling out in the studio, an Eames soft pad chair and a Milo Baughman chair, nice. Literally been looking for that two same chairs down to the colors as well as a Le Corbusier chaise and petite chair.
This was brilliant. A very funny pod and great to see the true Sam coming out a bit more 😂 the bond between you all really shows. Funny when Sam and Paul were just laughing at Tony trying to slate Lambo. Great work lads. Would be good to see these just general chats more often.

Great format to keep things fresh! Would love to see it permanently on the main podcast. Would be good to see you guys have a roadtrip again and host carpark chats while you’re away to kinda sum up your trip.
Love the podcast, it would be cool to bring in guests from time to time and hear their stories, vinwiki style segments or interviews with people in the car world like you've done in the past.

Hi from just north of Jackson, MS area. Have a Pista Spider and GT3 Touring so there are some people here who can afford cool cars. I agree that the city of Jackson itself is a wasteland, and my friends and I have considered stealing those Ferrari signs quite a few times. Cheers
43:50 I was under the impression the value you give in the insurance application process is a guide for them to calculate your premium, but it doesn’t have an affect on the payout amount. Instead, I thought they calculate market value when a claim is made?

I'd be really interested to hear more from Paul about his channel, I watched SOL for the first time in years this week and was surprised by what I found
Was just thinking this myself , I’d love to know what’s going on in Paul’s mind the channel is gone down the gutter it’s so unfortunate to see used to love his channel it’s severely unwatchable right now and has been the last 2 years
Times change, people get bored of content and theirs thousands more channels now.
Extremely entertaining, very natural flow of conversation, definitely make it a regular format!

Please keep this going monthly! Also on America's dumps - Missouri, Louisiana, and many of the high flooding states are actually the worst places in the country to purchase new and used cars from. Probably why that Ferrari shop closed up.

Guys I’m trying to sell my car and have no idea how to go about it. Can you and Tony give tips on how to sell a car, preferable to a dealer.? Like what price can I ask? It’s a Mercedes C43 AMG but prices really go all over the place

My brother rear ended a pick up truck at high speed many years ago much like Tony's crash story. His passenger refused to wear a seatbelt and mashed his face into the windshield and LITERALLY left a print of his face in the spidered glass like the Shroud of Turin. He ended up with around 200 stitches in his face, but with the slope of the windshield he was lucky to not have a broken neck.
I have to say I am actually happy to find out that Sam curses. Also, Richard Hammond is my favorite of the 3. You three could do a comparable 3 presenter show, couldn't you?
Also, anything east of the Mississippi is considered the "shithole" of America. And west of the California/Nevada/Arizona border. ;-)

I really enjoyed this episode! The only thing that can be tricky with 3 people on a pod cast is voice clutter. If more than 2 people are talking it can sound like a jumbled mess. I'd love more CarParkChat episodes!

Re: Insurance values .. always insure them for replacement value. I lost some in a storage fire, including a 991.2 speedster. This was insured for the replacement value and the claim was paid accordingly. Every year when the policy for my cars renews I discuss their values with the ins Co and we agree what this should be but they’ve never nickel and dimed me .. as long as; what your asking for can be evidenced by cars being marketed / similar, you agree up front and they adjust the premiums accordingly. A decent insurer such as Chubb or Hiscox are fine with this on multi-car policies.
For SUV in the south of France. Why don’t you try the new Rangy Sport? Bit bigger than RSQ3, but…
Paul is great, he is arguably the reason most people watch other car channels.
