This extraordinary artist is often interpreted as a gift from heaven. It's important to know that despite beliefs, everyone has their own way of interpreting music, and Dimash. Emotion elicited from a spiritual or scientific perspective are equally as valid, as the interpretation is ultimately up to the individual. Different ways of consuming his music does not necessarily mean enjoyment is lost or gained because it's different to another person's. Еще меня захватывает самая последня пауза, где Димаш вздыхает, как будто что-то хочет еще спеть и инструменты тоже смолкают, как бы давая ему вступление, а он .... закрывает глаза и молчит, а я за ним тоже вздыхаю и... мне не хватает дыхания и замираю в тишине вместе с ним с недосказанной фразой. Филигранное мастерство!!! И это особенная химия в произведениях Димаша, когда сочетается все: голос во всех возможных и невозможных техниках, шепот, дыхание, тишина, инструменты, как они вступают и замолкают по его команде. Что-то конечно отрепитировано, но и благодаря тому, что Димаш очень хорошо знает свой голос он может позволить себе очень смело импровизировпть. И да, вы правы - на его концертах происходит чистая магия: 20-40 тысячный стадион поет вместе сним, плачет, смеется, и полностью затихает, так что слышно как падает иголка! Например в 2019 году концерт в Нью-Йорке, 19 тыс. стадион, эта песня на эту же мелодию, что " Иканаидэ", но с китайской лирикой (смысл лирики тоже отличается) Посмотрите - как чувствует себя публика!

Я был на его концерет в Праге 16 апреля 2022. Перед тем как исполнить эту песню Димаш спросил аудиторию шутливо: вы хотите китайскую верисю или японскую версию этой песни. Аудитория прокричала по разному. Димаш улыбнулся и сказал: я спою обе версии. Он исполнил эту песню частично на китайском и частично на японском. Все прозвучало в совершенсто как студийная версия, но это без сомнений было вживую. Такой высший вокальный пилотаж продемонстрировал Димаш!

Music is science, for sure. Beautiful science. I've never seen somebody give as much attention to the very end of this piece as it definitely deserves it!
He connected the final long note, the silence, and the hums. It opens the floodgate. I always ended with silent tears whenever I heard those hums. Yes, you are right. It is a beautiful science, resulting in an unspeakable torrent of emotions.

What he's done recently at his last 3 concerts Dubai, Dusseldorf and Prague was he sang "Autumn Strong" (the Chinese version of this song) in Chinese to start and in the middle he swapped to Ikanaide in Japanese in the middle and ended in Chinese! :) I agree the ending takes your breath away - the humming gets to me even after the hundredth time listening to it!!

Thank you. Awesome song and performance. In my humble opinion: You don't need the lyrics to know what Dimash is conveying in any of his songs. He is a master at portraying and achieving emotional responses in his performances. Dimash has said interviews: music is a physical science.; and although music has no language barriers or boundaries, it is subjective to country, culture and preferences of the listener.
When Dimash sings, It is not hard to understand the science, the emotional and the physical responses achieved; but it is definitely subjective to the listener. I have been following Dimash's career for about 5 years now, and his musicality and delivery keeps getting better and better.
You said at least twice you're looking at his performance from a scientific standpoint, but he got you in the feels too! Completely scientific emotions, I'm sure :D

This is exactly why I come to your channel,...to understand. I'm 63, I was never effected by any other artists the way Dimash's music does. I didn't have the privilege to learn music or singing, so thank you for helping me to appreciate the intricacies of his work from a musical science point of view. Great respect to you and to Dimash from Australia.
I'm just the same - no other artist has been able affect me, to attach themselves to my very heart and soul, the way Dimash has continues to do so, to this day - he really is a revelation, both musically and otherwise, and I simply can't imagine/refuse to even contemplate, a life without Dimash in it!
What I love most is there are no sharp tones even in his upper register. The notes are always soft and rounded to the ear. aka They do not make me wince in pain.
Beautiful reaction, thank you! In his concerts he usually does the Chinese version, Autumn Strong. I think in Dubai he let the audience choose which one! A beautiful performance is the one from Kyiv 2020. I'm not going to tell you how he ends it, you'll have to see it to believe it ❤️ I saw it live in Germany two months ago & I'm still recovering 😭❤️ As for silences, the fans won't always be able to contain themselves lol. But with Autumn Strong everyone holds their breath ❤️ As far as I know the Dubai show will be brought out on YT, last time they did the whole concert with some songs put out separately. Soon 😁❤️

On 16th Apr 2022 I was privileged to be in his concert in Prague. Before signing this song Dimash asked the audience jokingly if it wants to hear this song Chinese version or Japanese version. The audience screamed differently. Dimash smiled and said: I will sing both. So he sang the song partly in Chinese and partly in Japanese. He sounded perfectly like the studio version but in fact it was all live. What amazing and ridiculous vocalist he is!
LOVED your reaction! I will never understand why people would watch a reactor and not want to hear what they have to say!?! I saw him in Dusseldorf and Prague. I didn't notice in Dusseldorf, but I know in Prague he started the song in Japanese, switched midway through to the Chinese version (Autumn Strong), then switched back to Japanese at the end. It is hard to believe….but some actually don’t like what he does…???
So it’s nice when someone has most of that in their reactions.
Most Dears are happy just to see his face, so we watch any and all of it, including fanvids of his life and family, national and ethnic, trips for concerts, in airports, cars, making song movies, etc. Dimash is so humble and loving to all that surround him and in concerts, everywhere, that it is a happy experience watching him relate.

This video of his performance "Ikanaide" is a masterpiece both artistically and scientifically. There are so many things to talk about in this piece due to the inclusive of multiple ranges, multiple registers, multiple techniques. Listen again, each time he sang the word "Ikanaide" it always with different sound quality and emotions: Crying, Grief, Hopeless, Quietness, Withdrawal, Anger, Desperate are all there.

He sang the Chinese version, Autumn Strong, with a little part in Japanese, in his Düsseldorf and Prague concerts April 9 and 16. I attended de Düsseldorf concert and the entire show was unforgettable. He sang 23 songs in a 3 hours solo performance. I will travel anywhere to see him again. Your reaction was excellent.
