I really do hope Julian Nagelsmann would bring typical German mentality, never die spirit, good physical or stamina, and play well cohesive.
With this generation? Probably not...
He will
Sandro Wagner could be the key
@haraldooswaldo5759 he's an assistant coach, as you know. So you'd think that he's more important than Bundestrainer, Julian Nagelsmann?
@@rszanger that's not what I said .. But just like Löw was in tactics as Klinsmanns assistant coach in germanys surprising run at wc 2006, i believe Wagner could be the key when it comes to creating the right spirit . He seems to have a great personality , very intelligent, very charismatic.. Fantastic assistant coach choice from Nagelmann imo
Franz Beckenbauer wasn`t so much older than Julian when he first took the job. He was 38 years old at the time, Julian is 36..
And Ronaldo 38
I like Nagelsmann, but You compare Germany's greatest football player of all time, der Kaiser, with him ... Naaaaahhhh
Beckenbauer wasn’t really the coach, his role was man management and being the leader and the face. Nagelsmann is a coach, the situation is different.
Definitely a great choice by the German National Team.
GREAT CHOISE!!! Did u see how they lost against Turkey??
@@gaurav.d.1591 It can happen, he needs time to develop the team and Turkey is playing good football. Also for your information Turkey did top their euro qualifier group too.
As a Bayern fan, looking at him now bring tears to my eyes. Hope him the best!
He is goated
@@malzagod1429Почему ты его так называешь?
I wish you all the best nagelsmann, make germany great again.
I bet you also have a mustache
Here in Germany it's called "Fussball“...
"Fussball“ translates as "football" and if the interview had been done in England, he would have called it "football" too (out of respect alone)... and because, we germans call it „Football“, if we speak english.
But the interview is in the USA and Nagelsmann knows that if he wants to be properly understood there, he has to call it "soccer"...
Don't worry.. here in Germany it will always be called "Fussball"😂👍
The disastrous decision made by FC Bayern München is becoming more obvious day by day. I hope Julian does spectacularly well with die Mannschaft and Bayern comes crawling back to him.
nah bayern UCL this season with Tuchel
@@midtun977 I actually hope you will be proven correct.🇺🇸
Thank you so much for sharing this interview on youtube! We are excited in Germany at the moment and hope that everything will be great.
I’m happy for him! 🎉
😊
Thanks so much for posting this. Be well.
He will win 🏆 with Germany very talented coach.
no way he’s calling it soccer😭😂
American broadcaster and audience
Soccer > Futbol/Football
In german it's Fußball so we really don't care
Football most beautiful clever, game and NEVER call it "soccer".
I like him and hope he does a good job with Germany
Top coach. Bayern made a huge mistake letting him go
Like how he's saying soccer because he's interviewed by ESPN 😂😂
Still wrong though he knows it
Im American but I call it football
No lie didn’t know he speak
English so well !
All Germans speak very well English their educational system is top notch
@@sorenp1332 Yes i agreed. Most Germans do speak English if you start conversation with them.
He is the reason im studying to be a coach i really hope I can see him in Bayern again someday
Good Luck with your studies 👏⚽️. Apply for Man Utd you’d probably get the job!
@@smsm-xb1lt thank you brother I dont think there is anyone who can save Man Utd tho 😅
@@timosamaraj7308 You are welcome. As a fan, it pains me to say that as of this moment, I think you’re right. That being said, Julian Naglesmann is a great place to start.
I think, after 2014 Germany relaxed too much. All the players from 2014 are now retired from int. Football. They need new great defenders like Lahm, midfielders like Schweinsteiger and finishers like Klose.
.....and still have Hummels and Müller on the pitch!
@@MrWalter2202 ohh yep, you are right. I think it is ok to have few experienced players on the field. Müller is quite useful, because he seems to be always at the right place at the right time. But in general it seems that all other teams are moved on to younger generation and outplaying Germany on pace and desire to win. I also don't understand couch's decision to play Süle. He is a way too slow for fast attackers. If you watch the game against Mexico, 2 goals conceded was because Süle was outplayed by the fast Mexican offense. Or is it just me seeing this?
@@MrWalter2202 you are right! But I think it is ok to have few experienced players. Müller seems to be always at the right place at the right time! But I think all other national teams moved to more younger generation of players. Germany's back line seems to be too slow for fast opposition. If you watch the game against Mexico you will see that Germany got outpaced against Hummels or Süle. I don't understand Couch's decision to play Süle, he is a way to slow in the back line. The 2 goals Germany conceded in that game was because Süle was not able to keep up with fast Mexican offense.
He’s trolling England. Not USA.
How he kept saying "Soccer"😂
The "lost love" cause for the National team started actually in 2016 already, when it became obvious that the whole branch within the DFB responsible for the national team turned into some sort of Mafia alike "family" where success wasn't the bar everybody had to hop over anymore and nobody was held accountable anymore for anything happening on and off the pitch. It was disgusting and soccer fans get a sense for such things very quick.
Now that everybody from that post 2014 WC era has fInally, FINALLY quit there is a good chance to build something good again. Rudi Völler represents an era where it was clear for any headcoach that anything less than a semi final run must be questioned and anything less than surviving the group stage was an instant sack or step down.
That simple rules were just thrown out of the window over the past decade and I hope I will never have to witness anything like it again. Julian is a match made in heaven, I'm sure he can deliver.
germany after 2014 lost their best striker and have to change
@@willyvonfalknerheim4128oh absolutely we need strikers. But these will not grow on trees overnight and we always were aiming for the stars even with the worst players of all top teams.
I just don't want us to hide behind that. And if things go well I want us to stay humble. The awful "best never rest" campain of 2018 made me want to puke already before they boarded the plane to the WC. If things not going well one must at least see the passion of the guys on the pitch.
And let's face it, even without a striker the quality of the players was the wet dreams of all national coaches between 1994 and 2004. But still we got ourselves some results back then. Even a Euro title.
But yeah, we need strikers.
I never realized how similar he looks to young Mattheus, with his facial features (mainly from the side though)
Blud said soccer 😂😂
Petition already started to get him out
Am not worried about Germany if he is calling football soccer 😂😂
Can anyone with a good insight into JN say he's a good replacement for Kloppo at liverpool??
Very attacking minded coach. Best of luck.
Wow 26 years old coach intresting amezing
People are upset about him calling it “soccer”, Germans have a tendency to call it that as they learn American English in school & when watching movies, listening to movies, etc.
They call lifts “elevator” too.
You guys are spazzing out over him calling it soccer to an American audience while he’s on American soil lol instead of worrying how well he’ll have Germany operating.
Hope Julian can turn Germany national team back to a strong team again
Am so surprised he accepted that role over a move to Chelsea
I'm not. The manager's job with Chelsea is an absolute career breaker at the moment.
For what only to be sacked if he lose 2 or 3 games? Nah fk that chelsea
Ha! Hang on I sense another rollercoaster ride. Only days will tell
done
Wow Julian speak pretty good English, was not expecting that!
English is a Germanic origin language.
He is very good Coach
Has anyone asked him yet why he keeps calling it soccer?
After seeing the recent match against turkey I don't think Nagelsmann can bring his team at top.
my man said soccer!!! lol
Кто нибудь может мне объяснить о чем они разговаривали, в двух словах, так как я не понимаю язык, а мне очень интересно...
Bayern made a HUGE mistake sacking him.....
Juliiiiaaaaaaaaaaan ❤
Soccer... you know its called football.
Fullkrug, Havertz, and Kimmich will score against the US
@@FUTRat-eg7dx Nagelsmann knows how to bring the best out of players.
@@FUTRat-eg7dxTheir decision was absolutely idiotic and might‘ve lost them the treble. Not only that, under Tuchel they should have lost their league streak as well, if it weren‘t for Dortmund bottling it.
@@FUTRat-eg7dxFC24 doesn’t like the Bundesliga teams due to their relation with Konami. I just read an article about it. I’ll see if I can find the link.
@@SuperSaiyanKrillin-zc2gc the people that fired nagelsman also got fired.
@FUTRat-eg7dx trash but good enough to beat the US afterall 😂
it's football not soccer.
Please Julian... call it football.
Honestly Soccer sounds better. Naming it football feels kinda lazy
Football
It's probably just because he's talking to the american audience
@@ilfouco1541no it doesn’t you pilgrim yank.
Germans call it sooner in english. They really don’t care about all that UK call it footballˋ hysteria. That’s a UK-US thing. And honestly, they shouldn’t care about it. Germany‘s got it’s own language.
Ge shouldn’t have been sacked at Bayern
so happy he is the new boss. we might finally put the fear of god on the world again.
Sacked for saying soccer
bring him back to bayern pls
USA? They play football? Didn’t know that. They should stick to their eggball or hockey.
Why was he sacked?
Didn't win the champions league
Because Kahn and Brazzo are stupid. But they got their Karma by getting fired as well
he was undefeated in CL last season when they sacked him@@MrAaen
HE was sacked because he cheated on his wife for a BILD reporter. Then his wife was leaking is tactics to everyone. not so much for losing the UCL.
Höneß already said that the reason they fired kahn and brazzo bcs julian should have stayed
We need him back in bayern, get tuchel out.
Usnt is filled with cry babies but that’s the culture here. People don’t teach there kids values here.
why does Julian turn his head always to the right when he is talking? is he shy or is it a tic?
dificult to explain to a perfect person!
@@MrWalter2202 please try it
Bruder bitte warum Soccer

Hes lost credibility calling it Soccer,....
Come on Julian,Play REAL German Football fighting, defending,we dont need nice football,we need the old direct German football
Drop Nuer n muller . They are done
Bro said soccer 🤡
Is he American why he keep sayin soccer
There is football and there is american footbal.
Soccer lul
He breathes so loudly. It’s unbearable.
Stop calling it soccer haaha
Why he use soccer, its football. In german is fussball not sokkaar
Nagelsmann has to learn the basics first. It’s football not soccer.
He will fail
van Gaal would be better
2 predictions for US v Germany:
* 4 - 2 US win
* espn reports on how poor Germany is rather than how good the US is becoming, with at least one mention of it only being a friendly immediately after having to say the name Christian Pulisic 😉
LMAOO you ain’t winning, stay humble you muppet. Germany are about to destroy the US. Also, the US isn’t getting good, bunch of average and bench-warming players.
I think you don’t understand that wirtz, musiala, neuer, kimmich, sane, gündogan are all better than pulisic
Germany at their worst are still much much better than the US

And yet he's among the top goal scorers this season across all Europe... not to mention *goal involvements* of which he has... well nearly every goal Milan has scored 😁

*Our* biggest weakness is obvious.
Berhalter.
poor man, with the German team he can only lose. a horrible defence with a 40 year old goalkeeper, or with old Hummels, who is not very fast anymore
which keeper??
Ter Stegen?
Neuer will play, Ter Stegen is international class, but he never got a chance @@davinnicode
Neuer!@@jacobreichert836
Sounds like you know a lot about football and the geman team...NOT.🤣 Our goalkeeper is ter Stegen, and even Manu Neuer aka the GOATKEEPER is not 40. 😉 And Hummels is still better then Harry Maguire.🙃 Till the Euro's it's all fun and games, let's enjoy Müller's and Hummel's last ride in the national team and don't be surprised when we're a contender 2024.
so germany will die pretty again, germany is the new arsenal london, pretty useless football, germany could do that from 2010to2016 they had 11 world class players, but nowdays i hardy see anyone world class
🤡
Germany = 🗑
The talent just isn't there, just overrated, overhyped mediocrities and old relics from 2014. Wasn't Hansi's fault, as they'll soon find out with Nagelsmann
Germany is gleaming with talent though thats the thing you can't rely on Bayern Players for the starting 11. They are over worked and dont put 100% into the games for the national team. They got plenty of great player in the u21 that play fast tactical and aggressive.
In defense and striker position.yes. in other positions ?. No
Big mouth from a lil man with many complexes livin on a small island. Women and men England 2WC or Euro titles, Germania 17(!)! But congrats for your arrogance😂 how many decades to wait til you are closer and maybe even more than a century til you are on the same table ?😂
🤡🤡🤡
Look at the lineups set by Hansi Flick and think about your statement once again. The defense was altered every single game under Flick. Players with bad performance were chosen over and over again. He played his stupid high defensive line although it did not work in a single game. Flick and his team bottled it like a group of comedians. Flick did not realize that you cannot play the 2020 Bayern system with any group of players. Germany were underhyped for decades (you might be too young to know) so it's ok that they were overhyped for a few years. They will improve again.
He seems very nervous with lots of pressure on him.
The language is the problem
