A lot of the kids that act out and are labeled as troublemakers are actually bored and belong in a gifted program.

Deanz Beber it’s a pretty big deal if that did happen. Baseball banned Pete Rose for life over gambling because they have to be harsh to deter other players. I don’t think Rose even ever bet on the reds. Rose was a sure fire hall of famer and probably top 10 all time at the time but it didn’t matter.

Jordan was prone to a gambling problem. Think about it; Jordan is incredibly competitive and he probably took his competitiveness to the gambling tables.. You could be “good” at gambling but ultimately luck plays a big factor. So this is where his psychopathic tendencies kicked in and he got addicted to wanting to win at these games that ultimately required luck rather than skill.

As a child in the UK born in the mid 90's i knew Michael Jordan from Space Jam. Imagine my surprise when I later found out tht he was not only a real person, but the baseball storyline was real.

The reason they investigated the “betting on games” thing because literally a few years earlier there was a huge baseball incident where Pete Rose was betting tons of money on baseball along with betting on himself on his own team. The reason this was so big was because Pete Rose was one of the greatest hitters of all time.

I actually think he retired to get some rest. True he played baseball but had several months before going to camp. And then after he had several months before returning to the Bulls. If you watched him in the 92-93 season he looked tired. And of course he pushed himself to play harder again in the playoffs. Even though statistically he was great, he wasn't going to the basket as much and shooting more jumpshots. He could not jump as high as he used to. His knees were worn out.

I was waiting for them to go over the fact that "Space Jam" made this look like it was all absolutely fine...and that "Space Jam" is still an awesome movie.

I know what you mean. I'm not into sports either but sometimes you don't to like a topic to enjoy something dealing with said topic.
