Gungi went from padawn NPC to fan favourite order 66 survivor. Loved seeing him in Bad Batch.
Padawan NPC, i laughed so hard xD. And it's always a pleasure seing another order 66 survivor (he looks skilled for a kid, fighting trandoshans is such a thing).
In Republic Commando, Trandoshans traded Sev to Mount Tantis
I thought Gungi was a youngling?
@@ilphi08 yeah, I guess.
I'd say he deserves his own show like Book of Gungi.
If I remember correctly Bad Batch Season 2 takes place in 18 BBY. From a lore perspective this is a very dangerous time to be a active Jedi as the Inquisitorius Program saw a drastic amount of success in capturing, converting, or killing Jedi between 18 - 15 BBY as by 14 BBY most of the other survivors had hidden themselves too well for the Inquisitors to track and could only wait for them to slip up and reveal themselves.
I’ve heard Oppo Rancisis his himself very very well, but for Coleman Kcaj? Well, as seen in Kenobi; Master Kcaj was eventually found! But Master Rancisis never was!
Katooni could’ve at least survived, but Petro, Zatt, Ganodi and Byph’s fates are quite slim!
There's speculation I have in mind about Katooni, but it's pretty much anyone's guess about her and the other younglings from Gungi's tribe.
But also, let's not forget Quinlan Vos. Obi-Wan found his name carved on a wall where Tarla takes him and Leia and explains The Path and Quinlan helps smuggle younglings.
@rashworth080 Apparently there is a comic (I don't know how recent) where a young Han Solo meets a Kiffar (nudge-nudge, wink-wink) who keeps being _mistaken_ for a Jedi around the approximate time of the OWK show, so Quin is off somewhere, doing stuff.
Omega made a good friend in this episode. She helped a Jedi survive and find a new home. She is possibly the greatest clone ever.
and Gungi taught her meditation, was looking for that clip, can't find it
0:22 Gungi heard Echos voice and groweled at him because he heard that voice during Order 66
Echo is the closest to a Reg. He used to be one before he was captured and altered.
0:40. Omega’s reaction when she meets a Jedi for the first time!
She heard Stories but I wonder what she thought of Order 66
@@haydenfowle7576 I think she was probably still on Kamino when Order 66 happened.
@@haydenfowle7576defo wasnt just walking around though either in a stasis tank, being studied, and or being experimented on :((((
She'd probably met Shaak Ti, and the Jedi who was on Kamino during Order 66
I Glad Gungi Have Survived Order 66.
I wonder if they will ever tell us what happened to gungi other friends during order 66 😢
Same thing that happened to most Jedi unfortunately
1:54 Hunter: this kid reminds me of Skywalker when he took out those Octo Droids on Skako Minor
If Gungi survived, i have to believe that his other Jedi younglings friends survived
Here's to hoping that one of them is Katooni 🙏. After all, Hondo named his ship Katooni and he was quite fond of her in the Younglings arc of The Clone Wars of S5. Hopefully she found her way to him and has her under his protection and perhaps guidance as a pirate.
@@rashworth080 believe it or not, I had a fan made story about how they all survived before the bad batch ever came out
@@rashworth080friends Gungi or ahsoka in season 3 bad batch
@@gregorymurphy3234 I'd like to hear it.
@@jakubbajer6463 I would love to see Ahsoka in season 3. For one, it would be a nice little reunion between her and Echo after the Citadel arc. Second, I think she'll make a great help, not only as Folcrum to help find and rescue Omega, but to maybe help ease tension between the remaining TBB. I can't help shake this feeling that there's gonna be fighting between Hunter, Echo and Wrecker, and I'm thinking it's gonna be more between Hunter and Echo. And they're gonna need each other more than ever to get Omega back, but with the stakes that much higher, no doubt tension are gonna running deeper and they'll probably need outside assistance to help keep them together. And I think Ahsoka would be a great help for them on both fronts.
I’m afraid what might have happened to the rest of the Padawans from Clone Wars Season 5.
They met the greatest baby slay-sitter Anakin Skywalker
Definitely killed by Anakin in the Temple Katooni may of escape and returned to the ruins of Hondo's Stronghold and lived among Hondo's Pirates
@@haydenfowle7576 Really? Why do you think?
@@Watermelon347in the last episode of the Younglings arc of TCW in S5, Hondo and Katooni bonded a little bit and she convinced him to help save Ahsoka and her friends from Grievous. After he had tricked and lied to them that he would get them off world with a ship from his hidden fleet, if he witnessed Katooni finished building her lightsaber. But just before he was about to take off in Slave 1, Katooni got through to Hondo and he when back to pick up Ahsoka and the Younglings from Grievous. Plus in Rebels, it was mentioned that he named his ship Katooni and that he was best friends with a Jedi. If anything, those can't be coincidences.
@@rashworth080 Oh that's epic! It would be totally cool if Katooni became a pirate for a bit after escaping order 66.
1:26 - The Kinrath turning up in this was *bizarre* - such a deep cut - appearances in just a handful of card games and KOTOR of all things xD
2:23 Obi Wan taught Gungis Youngling class about the high ground and also say "Hello There" when jumping down from Catwalks
I really hope for season 2 of tales of the Jedi we get an episode on gungi surviving order 66 and I’m really curious to know if any of this friends survived
I remember the first time I watched that episode, I didn't even realize at first that it was Gungi until the exact moment he started reaching out with the Force, at which point it clicked.
Gungi In Tales of The Jedi, Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Mandalorian, Book Of Boba Fett, and Ahsoka seasons 1-2-3 or 4
He’s awesome definitely one of my favorite Jedi out there also it’s very rare for a wookie to be a Jedi
Alright so Gungi survived order 66,but what about his friends? Katooni,Petro,Zatt,Ganodi, and Byph.I kinda don’t wanna know if they didn’t make it through order 66
Nice clip video, but where is the Gungi and Omega mediation scene ?
Wonder what has become of his friends 😭😭😭😭
I’m holding out hope they’re alive because some Jedi youngling lived outside of the temple in Jedi outpost that how handful of Jedi younglings survive in legend comic
Hot damn my son survived 🎉🎉
I wonder what happen to the rest of Gungi's clan?
Killed by Anakin
why are wookies always being seen being hunted? what's so special about hunting wookie/
I see 3 mainly reasons:
Like in real life, and sadly, their skin is on demand.
They are one of the strongest species on sw universe so, like we see here and in all the canon, the trandoshans are always hunting wookies because they see them as a trophy and due to their strenght they are "good" slaves (for the empire mainly in this era).
@@Rezolak they're also Jedi supporters
They are very thick with the jedi
@@G.K21they helped Yoda escape Order 66 and are family friends to The Jedi
@@RezolakI'll add to that.
During this time the empire still 'technically' outlawed slavery, however as wookies were incapable of speaking basic, the empire was able to convince the galaxy wookies were animals, not sentient, since the public at large didn't know any better. This meant wookies could legally be used as slaves.
Why is that fucking animated serial doing better job of entertaning star war fans than normal movies ?
Is Gungi related to Chewbacca?
As far as we know, nope.
who the fuck is Gungi
The Wookie. He was a youngling that had a small arc in TCW season 5 with a young Ahsoka
