    Is there a voltage/amperage/throttle/thrust table? I would like to know what happens with 12 volt batteries. thank you so much

      we didn't test the kit with 12V for efoil before. Usually customers use 24-48V.

      would you send your setup details (motor/ESC/battery voltage) to my email eileen@maytech.cn? So I can check and give recommendations.

      Hi, speed also depens on your battery, board shape, mast/wing shape, load, etc.

    Did you need to seal the motor? Or maytech waterproofing is fine?

    arent brushless motors waterproof anyway?

    • @EileenMaytech
      @EileenMaytech  Před 10 měsíci

      yes, it's brushless waterproof motor

      Yes they are... until they aren't.
      You're basically thinking of FPV drone motors, and most any brushless motor will not be harmed initially by getting wet.
      The wires in the brushless motor are coated with a thin enamel so electrical shorts don't happen in the motor windings, and that's good enough to hold back water too, but with enough gunk getting into the motor from not being fully sealed, the protective wire enamel can deteriorate until it's weak enough to short out the motor windings.
      With a motor that's actually built to be waterproof, there are seals that prevent water and dust from getting to there motor windings at all, leading to a much longer life for the motor in harsh conditions.

      @@Chris-oj7ro ahh
      i guess thats a plausable explanation
      also your motor is in the water all the time so it makes much more sense to think about waterproofing than on a fpv drone motor where you kinda want to stay away from water anyway :D
